Leigh I read your stories from 2008 and....

Leigh, I read your stories from 2008. First let me say you claimed your husband is a Muslim man. The definition of a muslim man is a believer in or follower of Islam. You stated your husband was a NON PRACTICING Muslim man meaning he was not a follower of Islam. You said he loved to go to bars and also pick up women. (you only find prostitutes in bars, Leigh) A faithful believer in God/'Allah would not do this. Its a sin. Yes, dirty drunken men do it and I have seen it FIRST-hand them staggering out of these run-down bars while visiting Morocco while out with my husband. He was disgusted with these men and knew the families and possible children were sitting home maybe without food or money, while they can have their good time. Believe me, it is NOT a cultural thing as you posted to live in dirty grunge bars and to go with prostitutes. Yes, some do are low class and have no morals. same as here in USA and all around the world, when they put themselves before the well-being of their own families.

Also after 18 months into your relationship, he didn't want to take you to meet his family and gave you some lame excuse while he had his own personal lawyer handy to do your visa paperwork. You stated they did not even know about you, and he told you his family would not approve of you, but yet he wanted to marry you and come to the USA! YOU MARRIED HIM. First off if my husband didn't love me enough to want his family to meet me, I would have questioned it from the start. You posted you were attractive,(don't have a long tail, lol, like you said I do...heheeeheee...sorry but dogs and cat's have tails) why would he not want to introduce his new wife into his family? YOU became his family once he married you! You had major red flags and you posted you married him and that maybe you had your own agenda for doing so. Now you are posting out of anger and you making wrong choices in life and honestly, you have bad taste in men. He was 50ish, been married before, live in a Holy land and he doesn't practice religion. What do you expect from this type of man. He loved to drink. He didn't try to live a good life. You stated in one of your posts "the hell with their culture and their religion (which is their way of life). You picked a "bad apple" and now you want to cut down the beautiful tree!

Im not bragging on my husband Leigh or putting yours down to make a point. (you did that yourself in posting all the bad about him) You want to say mean things about me and my husband to try and discredit all these culture of people. Let me say, the difference in yours and mine is my husband does not drink, he doesn't go to bars, he doesn't associate himself with these type of friends and he is a firm believer in Islam and is a practicing Muslim man. Not that he is flawless, but he loves his religion and wants to try and live a good clean happy life. secondly, your choice of men is NOT my choice of men. I am sorry if this makes you angry or even jealous because you had a sour ending to your love story. If my marriage does not succeed, would it be fair for me to come and post and blame everything on him? Like Isis has stated here before "the coin always has two sides'. Also, that coin doesn't always land on "Heads" Life is not some 'fairy-tale" Its a lot of trial and errors and lessons learned. Life is not perfect. ONLY PARADISE/HEAVEN is. We are not all as ATTRACTIVE as you, Leigh...maybe you too should have chosen a younger man and you would not have ended up with some 50ish year old bar monger....since you are so attractive. I will take my boysih looking man any day over an old drunken man who likes to fool around...This is my two dirhams for the day...Love it or leave it.
