To LisaReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Leigh (United States), Feb 21, 2010 at 22:33 Why in this world would you agree to marry someone who doesn't have a job and you had to pay to go to him. You have to be desperate. There is no way I would agree to marry any man thats not working and you have children. If you are not desperate ... you're having a hard time too. Love and sex can't pay the bills baby. Weren't you bragging about an arab girl can't do what you can do for your man sexually. Honey, sex dies fast when the bills can't get paid. If you are poor, he will definitely leave you eventually. Your son is 24, you married someone your son could have played with when he was younger. I can see his friends criticizing him about his stepfather. You may need to watch your husband around your daughters, because he will probably want them too. Young one are what they really want. If a man from a third world country ask to marry me, hell yeah I would think he wants a green card. Anybody in their right mind would have thought that first. I am not going to say I was all that in love with the one I met since it was easy to let him go. He was gorgeous and smart. Most Jordanian does well when they come here. I was single, my daughter just graduated college (22). I was just out for fun; since you want to know why I married. There is no way I would involve young children in a relationship with one of those men, and you don't really know him. I was about 40, divorce, and was just going to have some fun and see what would happen. But after reading these comments and learning about the risk financially I am taking by marrying and bringing him to this country, I reconsidered, like you need to. I would never fall for a Maroccan. I work with one of them and he is lazy, and had a nerve to ask me to lend him $5.00 for a pkg of cirgarettes. The mexicans will work overtime to take care of themselves but this moroccan rather beg, and borrow from women, even here in america. He tells us he has to send money back home to his family, but he is so lazy he doesn't want to work extra to earn more money. Oh yeah, it was an american citizen through marriage that got him here, he has divorced her, went back home and came back with wife and a daughter older than the marriage certificate of his to the ameican woman. Do you actually think they are going to tell you a visa is what they want, just to get out of their country. Get real Lisa, I'm sure you are not that dumb. You paid the money to start the process! and you don't think he is using you. I didn't have to pay anything, he didn't even ask. Did he tell you he will pay you back when he comes (laughing). I'm sure he did, or he will take care of you and your family when he gets here (smile). Wake up Lisa and smell the coffee, because you are dreaming girl. I had a certified copy in arabic and english of my marriage when I left Jordan and the money form him, not my money. He hired a lawyer to do everything. All I did when I returned was have everything copied and mail it. Now thats what a man does. I thought in Islam the man takes care of everything finacially (smile). Passing what "test of faith in love",(laughing), he doesn't have anything else to do but wait how silly does this sound. He got a fool now to fight to get him here. He is probably sitting back with his friends smiling laughing telling them he's going to america. I bet he is not bragging about a wife he has there. Yes Lisa I know about all the visa. Those men think why double pay. I know someone who got a man here on a K-1 visa paying money and when it cames down to getting a permanent visa, she had to pay a lot of money again. Its cheaper to go for the permanent papers. They are not thinking about the marriage or you, they are thinking about getting here permanently, and they think marriage will do it. There are lots of red flags in your relationship. Maybe its like someone said on here, he must have a spell on you so you can' t see them (laughing).
