I find it interesting how you are praising Isis for supporting you, when in fact her mantra on this forums has been adamantly against meeting Middle Eastern men on-line. Were I you, Lisa, I would question why I am the sudden, stark exception to the rule instead of basking in the limelight.

As it is, though, you are writing this post, no doubt in part to thank Isis, but also to try and infuriate other posters like myself.

I'm quite familiar with the tactic, Lisa. Call the attention to someone who agrees with you (Isis) and pretend like you mean for only her to read it and address it specifally to her like a personal letter while realizing that others will read it.

Were you so secure with him, you would not need such cleverness nor would you need to cite government agencies in an attempt to prove the valdity of your relationship.

It truly is amazing at how much trouble you are going through and how much you have endured from Simo and the federal goverment screening process to make this work. Then again, I made similar gestures with my myspace woman.

She tried to say she was adding me cause she felt sorry for some of what she posted (laugh), but when you go back and read her posts to me she insinuated much and she was adding me for other reasons I think. Anyway, she posted she has an Algerian boyfriend and pics on her site she is seen with looks like Muslim Egyptians, etc as couples but puts them down here easily when it comes to others relationships.

She thinks they are all the same BUT why is hers not??

That's something I really wish you would ask yourself, Lisa, before you worry about Jenna.

....... I sent Homeland security ALL our chat records from day one!! Every single day and I think they are more QUALIFIED to judge than some posters here on this board. Most people I talked to who went through Immigration were selected in what records to send and in some cases played up conversation scenes together...we did not have to do this cause we were average and never fought with one another and we both have had good characters with one another.

I would not put much emphasis on what homeland security finds or does not find or the information that you volunteered.

It is highly unlikely that they would spend a lot of time reviewing your chat conversations. They probably have some IT software that is used to detect key words and phrases relevant to terrorism.

That's really all they are interested in. They could care less about the nature of your relationship or whether or not Simo is a good match for you. Besides, government workers aren't exactly motivated to go beyond the call of duty anyways.

As far as being more qualified "than others on this board".....I have two quick comments---

1) Does that also pertain to Isis, or does she get a free pass since both of you agree

2) Homeland security does not have the credentials to determine if your relationship is for real or not. This forum is one of few sites that will even bother to take the time to discuss on-line dating, much less a particular segment of that (Middle Eastern men and Western women).

They simply do not understand the intricate nature of the internet, much less the communication gap. If they did, I doubt al quedia would have gotten away with planning the 9-11 attacks partially from chats in online sports forums and their use of Arkansas's DOT server for their plans.

In any case, not being a threat to homeland security does not mean Simo is a good man. You don't have to be a terrorist to have bad motives.

I won't dispute that.

You do spend a lot of time writing on here, though, and you at least seem familiar with what others comment about your situation. My hunch is that you skim through posts and respond on emotive impulses.

After all, if you did spend more time reading on here than writing, it may sink in that this whole situation with Simo is not worth the trouble you go to or all the bickering you do on here.
