I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to respond under this thread and I needed to piggyback on post to do it on.

i just wanted to say that the situation on this thread is exactly what my myspace woman and I went through in the final stages of our breakups. Yes, that is break-ups plural.

What happens when people start to blog about their relationships is that inevitably, other third parties get dragged in and the result was a big mess of cross-communication and shouting over Y! Messanger, myspace, facebook, and AIM. It was one huge mess and people said things that they probably wish they could have taken back or did not mean.

Unfortunately, I was a part of the whole mess as well and I thought that by fighting them off, I would be able to keep her.

What I learned from that dismal experience was that it was my own insecurity that really had a snowball effect. Were I secure and stable in that relationship, the situation could have been mitigated and I would have simply ignored all that garbage.

This situation with Lisa and Simo is no different. Well, minus a boatload of personal attacks.

In my case, her friends were messaging me and eventually calling me on my cell phone during the night and on weekends leaving harassing messages and telling me how they could evidently defeat me in a lawsuit.

I think on some level Margaret did raise an interesting point----why bother to keep responding since Lisa is not interested.

Well, truth be told, Lisa has seemed to convince quite a few people by the volume and countless details of her posting that what she has is real.

As a result, if I am really going to effective, then it's important to keep pace and make sure that things are straight. To some, it might seem like we are picking on Lisa or singling her out, which I understand to some extent, but Lisa did give me permission (albeit in a flash of anger) to discuss her situation.

Lisa and others can post whatever they like as far as I am concerned, even after swearing never to return and not read my posts or the posts of others, but I'm still going to hold them accountable to what they say and find the truth.

One thing I have observed about quite a few on this board is that they are what I call "lobs". In blogging lobs are hastily written posts out of desperation.You've probably seen some of them where there is broken English and a plea for help. In the case of this board, it's a desperation for information---information regarding the truth. Sometimes, women also feel cornered if their man is trying to forge a quick marriage.

Lisa's posts are not lobs. They are more like very detailed essays, and by providing more details, one would think that she must know what she is doing and talking about and therefore her relationship must be real.

Volume (amount of writing) is one of the most destructive instruments of deceit. I'd rank it right up there with all the charm that these men use to scam women. Volume, like charm, is designed not for substance but either to wear a person down or reinforce what they want to hear. The manipulation of volume in communication is akin to students when they say they "BS" their way through term papers.

I certainly do not blame women for coming on here and feeling so aghast, but I do want them to see what is really happening and even their presence on here suggests something.
