Marrying egyptian men

I want to marry an egyptian man who is muslim. i am not muslim. and i am confused whether i am taking the right decision. i hear lot of stories but dont want to take the wrong step which can make my future bad. can someone advice me how to decide if whats the right thing to do? maybe not all egyptian men are bad. and maybe the one i wana marry looks good but after marriage.........? need honest advice
