To Luigi- you will be shocked

You are so right, and you will be shocked, or maybe not, at what I learned about him. His name is Basem alqurneh. I took advice from here and befriended a woman on his facebook, in order to find out what he is up to. We exchanged a few messages and guess what? She went there to see him a few years ago, and I was horrified at what she told me.

But first, she called him, and told him off, after I sent her copies of our online conversations. She is totally done with him. She also said she had the same bad feelings before she went there but she ignored them and went anyway. When she returned, he was pressuring her into applying for a visa for him but she said she felt uncomfortable doing it and never did. Now that she knows about me, she is so glad she didnt do it. Things have been confirmed , everything he told me, promised me, denied to me, etc , has also been done, promised, said, and denied to her too.

Now HERE is the horror show part of all of this. When she got to his house in Jordan, he made her clean his apartment and she said she did it because she felt sorry for him as he has polio and has no one to do it. Then he made her wash his cloths by hand because he has no money and no washing machine. He made her stay in his room anytime his friends were there and she was not allowed to come out until they were gone. obviously he can't be in a apartment with a woman when they are not married.

She said she brought him many gifts and somethings he looked at and said to her" it is not good material" and put it down. Two days after she ws there, his friends from saudi came and wanted to take him to syria, he told her she had to stay in his apartment until she got back. She was there all alone, he didnt let her use the computer, nothing, she just sat there and once a day, his brother would bring her something to eat, like she is a dog or something. She also told me he " allowed" her to go to his sisters house one day, and when she got there, she was made to clean her kitchen and her house. She said it happened all so fast she never had time to question it. They never left the apartment, he never took her anywhere, no sight seeing , no dinners, nothing. Her and I have compared"notes" and believe me, she is telling the truth.

Now, I always thought maybe he was still married to his "ex" in Kuwait, just a gut feeling. This woman told me him and his" ex" used to call eachother daily and he would talk to her in front of her. now, he told me he hated her, and her response was" yea he hated her, that is why he called her everyday"..... Also he does have the internet. so another lie he told me. Back to the ex wife, this explains why he couldnt be seen in public or have his friends see this woman, he is MARRIED.........

This is all unreal to me. I am still in shock. I broke down today and called him, but it was ONLY to tell him off, he was stuttering and didnt know what to say, only that I " think like i am weak and why do i believe lies from weak people".....The minute i heard his stupid accent i had confirmations that I did the right thing. now he is at a loss as to what to do, he lost two chances of leaving Jordan. Neither of us wants anything to do with him. Although I am sure he will find another vicitm. We can only hope no other trust worthy woman are out there to believe his lies, or that he will drown in a tub of bacon grease :)
