hi pandora

well im so glad you escaped these men before it was too late..i was the victim of ..fake online relationship. Back in 2006 in a very vunerable state i also got addicted to chat rooms..i met a moroccan man who i thought after a few months was my knight in shining armour...how wrong was i. But unlike you i went over there 4 times in the space of just over a yr although id been talking to him for 7mths before i flew to agadir.

i met his mother and the sister and all the kids..they was very happy about the forthcoming marriage and such lovely people

It was all good at the time until he started not coming online when he said and then going missing for a month at a time. although he never asked me for money or anything like that the alarm bells started to ring.

I was half way to marrying this man and sorted almost all the paper work out...untill as i said he started to get distant with excuse after excuse and then he would go missing for a month in november time and may.

I learned that he had a ex girlfriend from swiss and what i didnt know was she had gone away to study in paris and there had been problems with her family not agreeing to the relationship..when she had her summer break in may she would go over there for a month...and thats why he used to dissapear to be with her !!! i learned all this from a local married man that lived in the same village and worked along side him. I often chatted to him when i was over there and he had taken the email address from me..he was like a best friend and so was his wife lovely people. he also told me that these two people was planning for the man i was with to find a woman to marry then get a visa and go to her!!!!!

He ften talked about this relationship with a swiss girl but siad it didnt work out ...he also told me that she had lent him 5000 euros to get him a visa and go and work in spain ...but he couldnt pay it back and thats why her family was angry ???? he said to me they will come over here in june and i need to get away from it all or they will put me in the prison here and take my passport then i can never be with you ....i was distraught ...i knew then something wasnt right and he was asking me for 5000 euros i told him i didnt have that sort of money.

the last time i went there in march 2008 he told me he was going to go and work some other part of the country so he could save money for when he got here to the uk.. another big lie.. from march to the begning of july he came online and we chatted as we ususally would then he said he was going away to escape the thought of going to prison.. he sent me a text message on the second of july on my birthday and said he wsa in deep truble and may go t prison and i never heard from him since.

i typed his name into google and i also posted a note on this website later on that year to see if anyone knew him.....i got a response from a woman in france and it seems she had been with him aswell at the same time and when he didnt come to the internet he had been enjoying a holiday with her and told her he would marry her ... but he had done the same to her he had gone away when things didnt go right ...

i once was on msn in november of that yr and he came online and said he was sorry he could nevr come here to be with me or get married as he had been in prison and took his passport away from him ..but HE WOULD HELP ME TO MARRY HIS FRIEND !!!!!what a crock of lies he had been with this other woman in between...and also with another woman from ireland i also learned from his friends online that stayed intouch with me that yes hes married this woman ..i found her on facebook and warned her and she wouldnt listen to me or my friend ...

im glad to say im out of this and its something i will never for get but also never be a fool for ever again x
