Thank you guys so much for your responses!!! They have given me so much strength...sometimes they were hard to read though.

Have any of you been like me and hid the truth about your relationship with the MENA man from your parents or closest supporters? My friends know about him but I didnt tell my parents bc I knew they would be worried about me and also bc they would have reservations about our differences in religions. Needless to say...going thru this hurt and confusion, all the while trying to hide it, is exhausting. I think he really liked that he became my only confidant bc when I would tell him it was time for me to tell my family about him ( bc I was planning to go to Egypt) he would encourage me to wait...wait for what? I'm not sure.

It's been a couple days now and I blocked him and I even closed my GMail account down..including Hangouts. It's hard but I just keep remembering all the cruelty. Thank God for this forum!!!!
