Convert

No, he never asked me to convert. I never felt any pressure from anyone to change but it has been mentioned to me. And many said they'd love to discuss Islam with me if and when I'm ready. We've discussed what we want for our child, and agreed the child would be exposed to both Christian and Muslim culture from us and will choose their own path when they are older. Neither of us go to places of worship often, so shouldn't be an issue. All holidays will be celebrated, so this should keep it calm and festive.

We've talked, we've laughed, and we've shed a few tears. Many apologises spoken. Right now, we need time. Right now, the focus is on the baby. He sent me a little money to save. Not much, but he's trying.

I believe he loves me. He just has no idea how to love a Western woman the way we want to be loved. He's got demons, as do many people. He needs to sort that out. And he needs to be willing to step out of his comfort zone. Will he be able to do this so we can raise our child together as a family? Idk, but time will tell. My focus is moving forward.
