Attention, Dr Pipes, please do not allow personal attacks on the forum

First of all, my apologies if this post is repeated, but for some reason the website got down every time I tried to post it so I'm trying again because I consider that it's important.

Dear Mr Pipes,

It's the second time poster Fatou post personal attacks towards the women on the forum by calling them "bitter". I personally don't feel offended since I don't feel myself bitter at all, but the contrary. I have survived to a very distressful period of my life after suffering narcissistic abuse through an Islamic relationship and I have grown nicely enough to not be disturbed by people who lacks of empathy and enjoy putting down others. But I still have to look behind my shoulders and I don't feel safe on the Internet. However, I come here to help others.

I'm on this forum since 2017 and posting on it from time to time to help and spread valuable information about the topic given by the forum. My only purpose is to avoid that what happened to me is suffered by other women so is the purpose of the large majority of the kind women who write and have been here as well for many years from now.

Maybe it's just my personal thinking, but I believe that these kind of comments lower the quality and veracity level of your forum. And specially, the new readers do not find this site serious if they find posts where women are name-calling other posters.

Please, consider not to allow this fact to happen again. It's not what a serious reader expects to read and makes difficult to spot the good comments which valuable readers/writers take their time to write to be heard.
