Once Again - Perceptions are Misleading
Our fellow reader Prashant waxes esoterically as many sometime do when considering that not everyone is on the same page regarding perceptions of Islam and how it is practiced, either by strict adherents or by those who are confused in what are the consequences of true obedience. Here is truth: Islam cannot be practiced in the United States as it may be elsewhere since Christianity took hold in America differently than in the Middle East or elsewhere in the portions of Europe before paganism. What's the difference? America came AFTER the reformation and belief in Christ came after revival.
Muslims in America cannot (read: are not able to impose Quranic religious obligations/al-hadith) adhere to perceived articles of belief as it is taught in mosques (Masjids/madrassas) like they think they can elsewhere in the world; and that frustrates many so much that they cannot contain themselves. Therein lays the conundrum between belief in the Christian Savior, which comes from Godly love; and belief in the Quran/hadiths, which requires adherence to a different paradigm, being confrontational to Christianity in hostility like that seen dramatically elsewhere in the world. They're not allowed to.
But let us be frank; outright bursts of murderous hostility in America is not a Muslim majority crime set; that is not yet. Is it possible for Muslim perception of sharia law to be imposed in America; anything is possible, but so far, that which was perpetrated in Boulder, Colorado the other day, or San Bernardino, California a few years ago, are tempered (be sure, not one of them are acceptable on any moral grounds) by the current situation of not being permissible under American law. It remains to be seen whether the rule of law remains American under the Constitution or is trampled for mob rule.
It s therefore obvious; the battle for the heart of America is at stake and without the legal protection of Biblically based morality, the fight goes on as Islam tries to overtake Christianity and the heart of love.
