jihad= death: Response to "Kate"

"Jihad is not about expanding Muslim territory. . . Jihad is holy war but it must meet very strict rules. It must be in defense of Islam, not harm any innocents or natural world. It is not declared to convert people to Islam nor is it declared before other ways have been tried."

Where in history have you seen any instances where Muslims use this "pure" and non violent version of the jihad that you have described above? I don't think it exists or ever will. We all have seen in the U.S. with how the terrorists used jihad as a legitimate way of destrying innocent lives. I am a Persian Jew myself, and my parents have escaped from Iran. Therefore, I have personal experience with these Muslims who really want us Jews dead. My parents were considered as second class citizens in that terrible country. They would never wish to go back to the hell-hole. Americans don't really know what Muslims feel/think since unless they're not exposed to them. I remember that they would make us chant "death to Israel" every morning when I was in pre-school. I'm thankful that we have moved to the U.S., where we have freedom of religion, can live without any persecuation, and be proud of who I am.
