Finding Truth is Never Easy - But the Heart Must be Ready When it is Found
Let us approach this exchange under a different premise: this observer has long ago determined that attempting to demonstrate the love of the Almighty does not, will not occur by any heated debate of a superiority of belief systems, whether Islam is superior to Christianity or any other religious adherence one might hold; Islam overrunning the supposed Christian influences in the Middle East is sufficient evidence that does not work. No wonder, Christ did not charge His follower to 'conquer' with His Gospel message; so what did fail when the Gospel was no longer the main message and the church was compelling followers after Constantine thought to force conversion (religion on steroids); Islam merely followed suite after many in those tribal communities were reluctant to convert to the neo-Jewish following of the resurrected Savior, facts of the crucifixion now being argued against by so many.
Different people come to faith in the resurrected Savior Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) in virtual isolation from anyone else they might know because as many denominations as there are in the 'church,' there are the many divergent 'theologies' that have been promulgated for all those years from two thousand years ago; and from this observer of the decidedly opinionated protestant influences, a lot of (read hundreds of years of questionable doctrine) needed to be revisited (read some of the exchanges this reader had with Dhimmi No More) to determine what was truth and what was mere religion. Reaching back to research translations upon translation before finding the clue that released the truth was no easy process, one that lasted for most of this student of the cross' adult life; and the finalization of that process will not stop until the realization of truth when seeing the Savior face to face.
The fact of the matter is that while Ali Sina's observation is compelling from an escapee of a religious system that bears little resemblance to this this reader's journeys, there is no compunction to agree on matters for which there is little to no experience on what another must surrender to in order to face up to one's own sins and come to faith in Issa, Yeshua, Jesus. The experience may be shared, but each is unique and only where there are similarities, is there the fuller understanding of what you are sharing here.
However, thanks for sharing about the salvation that is found in the Savior, Issa, Yeshua HaMashiach.
