i am nobody to judge ypu. if arabic women had the freedom of choice, they would definitely tend to follow their western counterparts. your support should go to them, not the joker men from there. that is why i think there area lot of elements in western culture that are 'superior' and precious, worth protecting against the onslaught of islam in the name of multiculturalism.

Lola, this article by Daniel Pipes and the notice issued by the American govt addresses element of an alien culture. its not against an individual. that is why i dont think this is the best forum to discuss personal issues. however if i may point out, the title of your original comment was "non muslim MEN, and...."

you see,its men, a goup of people. a society. social order. a person's cultural/religious background goes to some distance towards his character/personality foundation. women here fail to notice this or completely ignore. i hope you realize that in your case it was a cultural issue. between you and another australian it would have been nything else. but not 'cultural/religious'. and thats all i want to point out to women here, but they simply fail to get it!

now your point that this link has become about hating muslims!! again the issue is not about a muslim individual. its about the way they behave as a group/society.

are they integrated into the mainstream societies of australia- hell no

america- no

england - no way

france - ask the paris cops

buddhist majority thailand - no

hindu majority india - no

germany - no

nigeria - no.

no no no no no no. why? the reasons behind the above observations (you may verify them) , the reasons behind the problems women on this forum have faced, have common roots. just because the roots of the reasons lie in religion, that does not mean i am gonna be politically correct n do a hush hush, especially in this era of religion related terrorism.

just take the sample of women from this site. these men happen to target women from liberal 1st world backgound with white majority! tsk tsk. wonder why? what % of these men (with whom women on this site have been married/involved), would allow their sisters to marry a non-muslim? take a guess. think about the reasons? and which people kill or explode bombs in the name of their religion/ why? there are connections in all these behaviors. ignoring them is stupidity. saying not all are like that is sheer stupidity. yes, i have serious problems with the religion of peace. when i see that no church will be allowed in saudi arabia. no muslim woman can be allowed to marry a non muslim. then i have a problem that they go to other countries, date non-muslim women and are not willing to change even a bit of their homelands.

just read the post of a muslim here who has given his 'rationale' on why muslim women can't marry a non muslim. as a woman you would puke if you read that post. why should australia or america welcome muslim immigrants as equals when no non muslim is allowed citizenship rights in the middle east countries, even though they need the citibanks n the british petroleums to run their economy. i think what they do is bigotry. not me. as a group as a society, they show parasitic n predatory tendencies towards host societies. i am not like KKK. it is they who're behaving like KKK. n if women here are careless enough to fail to notice these things, then i dont have a high opinion of them. i know they think i am like KKK. great for me! first non-american non white KKK member!!!

muslims in canada are protesting the practice of sharia law! guess who is their most vocal opponent. muslim women from iran!!! they say we ran away from iran no to face these mullahs n their sharia law in canada again! now, how would they feel if they see western women having no problem with these same men with their sharia law!!

if there is any solidarity that should be shown, it should be for muslim women who are fighting against their sexist societies. and ironically women born brought up in free societies have no issues in embracing this tribalism. my sympathies are with them. not with the Kathys and the Donnas. they're fools.

on a personal note, i am sure you will move along in life. have fun and be happy. its a beautiful day, dont let it get away! listen to U2, go on a drive on this sunday afternoon!
