The Armenian Genocide and those that deny it. The long versionReader comment on item: Does Turkey Still Belong in NATO? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Apr 25, 2009 at 10:15 Our dear yasemin knows by now that we do not buy her Turkish ... wrote >There isn't any Armenian geoncide. Really? then what was it? and where did all those Armenians that lived in Turkey prior to 1915 go? let me guess: they were killed right? > It was WW1. Wow subhanallah >Turkish Armenians united with Russian Army and betrayed tand killed their neighbours from behind and tbetrayed heir country. Really? well let us see what happens >The only thing to do was to remove these Armenians away from Russians and from the battle ground to the interior lands. Interior lands of what? let me guess the Syrian desert if they can make it? and why would you "remove" children and women? you think that Armenian chidren would kill Turks? are you out of your mind? >During the war it was dangerous ofcourse but also the only solution for our defense. What defense? so you butcher 1.3M innocent men old people and women and chidren for your defense? Are you that cruel? >During this mass removal about 300.000 Armenian died. Ah mass removal and 300000 died right? well where is your evidence that only 300000 died? let me guess you have no clue or you have some bogus numbers by Turkey right? Well let us see what is the legal definition of what is really a Genocide as per the per the General Assembly of the United Nations that Turkey is supposed to be a member of such organization Dec/ 9/1948): 1. Killings members of the group. 2. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group 3. Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its hysical destruction in whole or in part 4. Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group 5. Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group It sounds very much like what happened to the Armenians darling. But you know what? Prof Leo Kupper in his book "Genocide" proved beyond reasonable doubt that this was indeed a genocide that fits within the legal definition of the UN And for those interested in reading the legal arguments and the legal case against Turkey please read "Genocide" by Leo Kuper published by Yale press 1981 >Some were killed (and Armenians killed all their neighboıurs, cut womens organs, childs faces), some died from hunger . And everybody was starving. Does that justfiy such a crime and would the alledged crimes of some justify blaming the innocents? and why would the Turks kill children and women? and if Armenians indeed kiiled some Turks do you think that may be they were ready defending themselves? what do you think ya ayuha al-falyasoofa al-kabeera? >Situation was the same for everyone, no food, no money, real poverty. So you go out and deoprt and kill innocent people? > Our soldiers had no weapons, one for ten, no food, once a day, no shoes, fighting barefood. And what does this have to do with the fact that 1.3M Armenians were killed in cold blood? and where did all those Armenians that resided in Turkey go? Even your masters the Arabs still call such atrocity madhbahat al-arman or the killings of the Armenians and you know what? Those that were able to escape to Syria Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt and palestine were received with open arms and their contribution to the host countries has been great and your loss is the Arabs' gain >Ottoman Empire had came to its end. And no one missed it >When our war was over and we established our Turkish Republic, Turkey was left only 13 million, Oh 13M wannabe Turks like you who have no regard for their ancestors the greeks and the Armenians and the Syrians or their sufferings at the hands of the Turks >half of them ill because of the war and hunger. And your point is? and does that justify killing 300000 or 1.3M or even a sigle human being? >We had nothing left and had to establish everything from the begining. We were in debt and paid them all to European countries. And what does this have to do with killing 1.3M human beings in cold blood? >There is nothing as Armenian Genocide. I will leave this pathetic remark for the readers to judge you >There was a war. And Armenians fought against Turkey. Tashnak Party, told the same those days, which can be read at Soviet Archives. OK let me tell you: then you go out and kill children and women because some men fought against Turkey? are you that cruel? >There is a very big chorus shouting about genocide, but being loud and crowded cannot change the truth. Oh we also have big chorus here in the Us that is paid by the Turks to rewrite history the likes of a so called scholar who shall remain unnamed who tells us that there was really no genocide! But you know darling? we do not buy his or your BS any longer For the readers: anyone interested in knowing more about the Armenian Genocide: see Andrew Goldberg's great "Armenian Genocide" No one should be silent about the Turks and their ...?
