Conflicts which have no solutionReader comment on item: Does Turkey Still Belong in NATO? Submitted by Ianus (Poland), May 14, 2009 at 17:30 berk akk wrote : " the country hated by ALL its neighbours " > I invite you to think in equitable and rational.Almost every country is dislike by their neighbours in history or in today.< The crucial term is "ALL". We had also enemies, but not ALL our neighbours disliked us. Turkey is probably a unique example of attracting uniform hatred from their neighbours. Now go and blame everyone for that but the hateful Turk ! > Give me a example of a country which has lovers around it since 100 years.< Sweden > "I'd guess that practically, all Turks somehow have had their hand in these crimes. " > Another guess .what kind of a guess is this?after a dream?looking at stars? Can we blame someone according to our guess?< This is a rational guess based on the post factum evidence. We had also committed crimes. What we did to the Germans after 1945 belongs to the most shameful chapter of our history I know. You have people here who deny the facts but you can be sure that you'll find many who will gladly face the evidence and admit the wrongs done by us without constructing tales of fiction of collective German guilt as the barbarian Turks do ( The "collective guilt" argument that hides behind the massacres of the Armenians belongs to the age of deep barbarity). Imagine that no one will be killed, persecuted, arrested, jailed, beaten for admitting we were wrong and committed criminal acts... With Turks it is a different story - ALL uniformly deny the crime, therefore ALL have had their share in it. "In 1992-1993 this friend was bent on invading Armenia and only fear of Russia's nuclear weapons twarted a second Armenian genocide the Turks would have carried out had they invaded Armenia." >Leaders of ermenia and azerbeycan ,turkey in talk nowadays.we will see the result.< Come on! A sea of blood and an age of nightmares divide these two nations -despite the short Soviet interlude - and the Turkish monster looms large beyond the Arax river stronger and uglier than ever. They have nothing in common except fear, distrust, revenge, betrayal. The results forced behind the scenes by the ignorant and unrealistic Obama administration will be either non-existent or formal, watered down , indefinite and with plenty of mental reservations and impossible of implementation . > Feeding enmity is not my bussiness.< Nor searching for the Truth of the subject matter, as I have noticed on almost every occasion. >what happend in 1992-1993 is UN subject.< Another pious wish of yours. Thousands of refugees, an uneasy ceasefire, fresh memories of atrocities , of incomplete defeat or incomplete victory , Nakhichevan cut off from Azerbeijan proper, military arsenals, century-old hostility ... All and more are still there both in Stepanakert and Baku. Abulfaz Elcebei once upon a time promised he would drink water from Lake Sevan. But who knows , perhaps one day the Armenians will drink water from the Caspian Sea on the shores of the Apsheron peninsula. > we will see solution.and hope we can discuss.< There are conflicts which have no solution. The Arab-Israeli conflict is one good example and the Armenian- Azeri&Turkish seems to be another. "perverted Turkish jingoist wearing protective sheep's clothing " >is not amicable .nationalist aprroach.< Truth has nothing to do with amicability. I just made a logical conclusion based on your perverted arguments. You keep telling us how fine Turkey is and I have to protest. "Perhaps, you will even help your Armenian "friends" unearth the skulls and bones of their massacred family members in what has historically always been just Western Armenia " > found provaking and enmity feeding ideas.< Is what I said false ? If it isn't -as it can't be as far as history and its implications (most Armenian families have recollections of some family members slaughtered or tortured to death by The Turks) , then what's your point? Banning the truth to preserve good feelings of the Turks and - by Allah - not to provoke enmity ? Thanks, I am not for replacing reality with a psychotropic drug of the lie. >I would feed amity instead.< At the expense of the truth. I wonder what value such an 'amity' can have at all? You are going to make plenty of false friends ! Go ahead! I want none of that pack ! >This way of thinking can not reach a point in today or in future.< The future belongs to the (Turkish) lie according to you ? It's possible but I will rather die fighting this possibility to my last breath! of their pure Turkic race which they claim is purer than that of the Kazakhs , Kyrgys , Uzbeks , Turkmen so that they are entitled to rule a future Pan-Turkic empire." > is not based on genetical DNA code ,race .< Have you ever thought why an Anatolian Turk walking in Samarkanda or Tashkent would be taken immediately for a Russian or Armenian rather than a Turk? If Ataurk with his blue eyes and blond hair appeared in Ashkhabad , he would be taken for a 100% Russian from Pskov or Orsha ... You can fool yourself on your 'Turkic' race but no real Turks keeping most characteristics of the original Mongoloid Turkic race. > I am against all kind of racism.< It's very hard in Turkey where Turkish racism is as wisdespread as Islam. > In anotolia there mixed people .Natives and new comers mixed up.< "Mixed" is too innocent a terms. Native women were kidnapped en masse, raped, dragged to Turkish harems, children were abducted , circumcised and Turkified while men were slaughtered or enslaved ... The realities of the early Turkish invasions and occupation of Asia Minor are known from the Byzatine and Armenian sources. The same pattern was copied in the later Turkish occupation of the Balkans. >Created TURKEY.Everyone possibly has kyrgys, turkmen, ermeni, arab ancestors.< That's true and I'd add many more kafiri non-Turkic nations. Now what is so mad about Turks is that they deny their own roots that every glance at the mirror confirms and identify themselves with a fictitious Turkish master race they have nothing or very little to do. They are litteraly late-born janissaries. Like these Christian renegades of once the present Antolian mongrels do everything to get roid of the ugly shadow of their past that is following them all along. > That does not matter. However ,majority of new comers to anaotolia was oguz tribe.< The Oguz tribes, including the Seljuks, were a small minority of savage nomadic and semi-nomadic warriors of Islam and slave-holders and in the Hellenic and Armenian sea of Anatolia. [Today's Yoruks are a dim reminder of these old times. ] They succeded not only in enslaving the sedentary populations but in the long run in Turkifying them with the aforesaid methods. They first ravaged the open villages, terrorized the peasants who sought refuge in the mountains and cities and fortresses. Thus the nomads could occupy with their herds the countryside and then gradually conquered the Christian cities and strongholds. > Racist aprroaches to the anatolia people is not true.< Turks are queer racists. They are bastards and mongrels who boast of their allegedly pure Turkic blood! One more Turkish absurdity among so many. > This land is called Turkey. As personaly i am agaisnt and cant foresee a panturkic empire. Hovever it is not imposible.World politics may bring such a situation depending on many things.< Turkey is overpopulated and needs resources she hasn't got. Central Asia and Russia have these resources and particularly the latter is demographically a dying nation and a huge territory. The grey wolf has smelt blood and swag ... But Russia has nuclear weapons and needs no mass armies to stop the bloodthirty Turk in search for new jihads and new booty. "Are you back again with your favourite trick of rejecting persons not to be confronted with unflattering evidence they have got against you " >I have received non amicable words from switzerland friend.< Why are you so obsessed with being praised, I wonder ? Are you a child asking for a candy ? > His claims were personally targetted me .More ,he was giving me lesson..< You have deserved a reprimand , haven't you? You have to be more self-critical. By the way self-criticism is better than self-observation. > who i am? a student? am i in school? is he teacher? a master? what kind of evidence against me giving me ? a lesson..he could express his thoughts but not giving me lessons:).< You have been given here on this forum many a splendid chance to learn what your school dismally failed to teach you. But instead of being grateful for our unselfish help and time devoted you're complaining and whimpering. You have again wasted your chance to learn something that may never recur. >My react can not be related to turkishnes subject but human nature .< Turks are a special case within humanity. By "special" I mean nothing flattering, as you well have already guessed. "But how dare I, an ignorant Polack , give you, a deep Turkish thinker, any lesson "teaching deep subject" to your Turkish excellency?" >You had expressed your thoughts in a discussion manner till today (you used many nonamicable words but i compensated ) .But one day,you may be in a teaching position and voluntarily i be your student ,then of course you can give me lesson.I can take lessons only in friendship .< I give lessons only when I know this will be no waste of time. So you chances to become my student are extremely small. Don't take what I have written here as a lesson. My target group are non-Turkish readers. "studied Swiss legal system and found it perfectly suited to model Turkey's new legal system after. In 1926 Ghazi Kemal Mustafa Pasha had the Swiss civil code translated and introduced as valid across Turkey. Interesting , what ? Visibly he understood that in the country of chocolate and bankers there was much to imitate and admire for Turks. Ataturk dreamt of Turkey as a future Switzerland of the east" > Oh my god..I remember he was islamist jihadist ghazi as you have declerad many times.a collapse in your thinking? a jihadist imports switzerland dream, laws? Or may be he is not islamist? may be not jihadist? what is he?< Have you noticed the date "1926" ? Our jihadist Kemal was accorded the Ghazi(= destroyer of Christians) title in 1921, burnt Smyrna in 1922, settled scores with the caliph who had issued a death fatwa gainst him by expelling the caliph in 1924. By settling his private scores with the caliph and the institution of Caliphate that had sent assassins and a whole irregular army against him during the civil war Ghazi Kemal willy nilly was forced to break his heroic career of Islam's defender and a sword in Allah's hand. The death fatwa against him was still in force and who knew if some pious admirer of Allah's shadow on earth would not carry it out ? So although Islam had benefited from Kemal's jihad by removing anything non-Islamic from Anatolia, our ghazi had to deny now his own Islamic roots and recent jihadist past following his infallible self-preservation instinct. Being a brilliant master of disguise and pantomine the jihadist turned "secularist" and began his war with his former ally Islam. His friend Lenin had taught him many useful political survival lessons, hadn't he. And Kemal was a good student. > This nothing to do with comuniciatoins between personals giving lessons eachother in an nonamicable way.< I can't communicate with somebody in an amicable way who -to put it very inamicably- prefers amicable lies to inamicable truths. "Finally , a friendly advice to you, Turk. You have revealed your ignorance and arrogance on many occasions here" >How succesfull you are.You catched me .And you revealed one more TURK.Another turks is eliminated...< I wish he were. In the meantime your sweet countryman called "bmanco" on YouTube after an exchange of views (100% identical with your 'private' views), sent me a personal message on YouTube promising in very kind and nice words my elimination. To quote the lovely Turk : "Listen carefull you f..ing mother f...r. If i Ever see you, even when it's over 40years, i swore that i will kill you you m.. f.... I tried to talk with respect but you don't understand. I hope that you will get beaten very hard by a muslim in the comming year. f...bi... I hope that a car will kill you bi..." Anyway, it's nothong new to me. Just go on YouTube and look for "bmanco" and ask him yourself. I guess that some friendly US official has already transferred - in accordance with Ankara's request from December 2008 - my identity to his great Turkish friends so that bmanco's or any other peace-loving Muslim's job will be much facilitated and the "GREAT PEACE" project sponsored by Turkey&Islam may go ahead unimpeded. "Next time try to use some modesty not to be exposed to more unpleasant remarks ." > How can a turk can be modest? is it possible? All modesty ,rational thinking created during big-bang had given to non turks... By way of exception I willingly agree. With the advent of the Turk ( be he modern or pre-modern ) common sense and civilized ways have got a very hard time indeed. > In my opinion, discussions, giving lessons, should be carried on in amicable way.< How can you make this statement compatible with what you have just established ( "All modesty ,rational thinking created during big-bang had given to non turks...") ? Can one be amicable with irrational megalomaniacs like the Turks? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
