Islamo-KemalismReader comment on item: Does Turkey Still Belong in NATO? Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Jun 27, 2009 at 06:41 YIGIT=brave boy wrote : > dude i must say that you r very uneducated about facts It's an exquisite compliment to hear this upbraiding from such ...as yourself, brave boy. As to facts despite your bombastic announcement you haven't faced or produced any. And it's exactly what I have expected. You don't know anything beyond the state-sponsored media and are unable to learn anything new that contradicts your sweet megalomaniac pro-Turkish lies. > ataturk supporter was agaist quranic schools. but united states force government to open that schools< Don't make a fool of me, brave boy. Kemal (Ataturk appeared only in 1934) closed down religious schools and kicked out Islam from primary, secondary and high schools in 1927, allegedly because in his Islamic monoculture "many non-Moslems" were living. But after his death it was noted that many free thinkers and leftists were brought up by this systemm of education so that in 1949 Islamic instruction was re-introduced at first on the 'voluntary' basis in primary schools and was then extended. After the Kemalist coup d'etat in 1980 due to the previous secret agreement between Kemalists and Islamists allied in their war against the Leftists and Kurds (the second undeclared civil war) the obligatory Islamic indoctrinationwas imposed for all secondary level schools. This time Kemalists did a favor to Islamists. Therefore nowdays in 'secularist' Ataturkistan you don't have a single person who hasn't been brainwashed and indoctrinated by Islam from his early childhood up to their adulthood. > but quranic schools students cannot join universities .. we dont allow them..< What for? Their careers are brilliant and secure without an inflated university diploma. > i m open all kind of opinions as long as they're not prejudiced..< Now , brave Turkish secularist by Allah's grace, you have a great chance to hear and refute an unprejudiced opinion about your Ataturkistan by Rachel Sharon-Krespin. "Today, Turkey has over 85,000 active mosques, one for every 350 citizens—compared to one hospital for every 60,000 citizens—the highest number per capita in the world and, with 90,000 imams, more imams than doctors or teachers. It has thousands of madrasa-like Imam-Hatip schools and about four thousand more official state-run Qur'an courses, not counting the unofficial Qur'an schools, which may expand the total number tenfold. Spending by the governmental Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet Işleri Başkanlığı) has grown five fold, from 553 trillion Turkish lira in 2002 (approximately US$325 million) to 2.7 quadrillion lira during the first four-and-a-half years of the AKP government; it has a larger budget than eight other ministries combined. The Friday prayer attendance rate in Turkey's mosques exceeds that of Iran's". http://www.meforum.org/2045/fethullah-gulens-grand-ambition > you are just a oryantalist european.. that is.. you dont know the war between religoist people between kemalist in turkey.< I see. It's better to be an oriental orientalist, isn't it ? One has just to repeat the official nonsense and lies instead of unmasking them and making enemies. The war between the so called "secularists" and Islmists is by and large a phoney war. All Turks are Moslems and Kemalism has produced this result with Kemalists actively, nay aggressively promoting Islamisation by their 1980 "school reform". So it's not Islam that is at stake here. What is at stake are the huge privileges of the Kemalist gang ( free housing, high salaries, free transport, free health care etc. etc. etc.) that proclaims to represent and defend formal 'secularism'. The moment these privilges are secured this phoney war is over and Islamo-Kemalists will concentrate on their common uniting favourites - the anti-Kuridish, anti-Leftist, anti-Armenian, anti-Greek , anti-Semitic, anti-American, pan-Turkic feelings that unite and reconcile all Turks irrespective of their infantile scholastic pseudo-disputes over headwears, hijabs, fez. >you may be a kurd. therefore you're changing facts. Or may be I am an alien. Therefore I can't understand why these virtuous and innocent Moslem Turkish angels are so heideously denigrated by those shaitans of Kurds, Greeks, Armenians, Arabs, Germans , Jews ... > so believe what you beleive i really dont care You have no other choice, brave boy. ... you can't aspire to anything but abject carelessness.
