"For a Turk only a Turk can be a friend" - a Turkish sayingReader comment on item: Does Turkey Still Belong in NATO? Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Apr 27, 2009 at 15:41 berk akk wrote : >Dear brother< A Moslem calls a kafir "brother"? Aren't you afraid of your Allah's wrath and his hell or you just want to hoodwink me again? (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people." (9:23) - "O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers." Or more ayats you allegedly don't understand as you did when confronted with 8.55 ? > I am wery much disapointed about your approach to me as you identify mass murderers.< As to me it would be untrue if I said I was also very disappointed by your consistent and anxious evasions to face any negative evidence, any negative point raised. Frankly, I did expect it from you from the very beginning as I expect it from EVERY Turk. I did also expect you would try to push me in the defensive by invoking the cheap stratagem of "hate speech", "insult", "blasphemy", "arrogance", "being offended" etc. etc. - all excellent and infantile excuses in order not to argue, not to seriously discuss, not to try out the force of rational reasoning about anything and keep the cherished absurd opinions intact and unscathed . > Dear brother,i feel myself in the court, am not in a position to defend a 75 milion country being i am an ordinary citizen.< You wrote on this forum as a defender of Turkishness and Islam. You tried to the best of your abilities to whitewash Turkey and Islam on many occasions. Even when crassly refuted you denied to draw any logical conclusion but jumped to another subject. You are a typical representative of that Oriental nation. And you are on a public forum you have to blame yourself and not your critics if you are unable to defend the indefensible ! It is that nation that has such a dirty and criminal past. That you can't see or admit it gives you no right to be insulted when other tell you what they see. E.g. how many Greeks and Armenians did your Ghazi Kemal ( I am not asking you how many of them your own grandparents butchered ) exterminate ? Now you dare quote this butcher of hellenism as a Turkish version of Mahatma Ghandi. And when the absurdity and bloody derision of your statement is exposed you complain you feel yourself in the court , you are an ordinary citizen ? > Please take it as personal thoughts.< I doubt these are strictly speaking your "personal" thought. It's how almost all Turks react when pressed hard by the undeniable evidence. You're not the first Turk I have encountered. If no smashing evidence is against them they announce so willingly quite impersonal and nationalistic "thoughts". > Another disappointment is that an internationaly driven game has increased its power nowadays, the game injects hate into the many diferent populations inside the region.< Yes, an international conspiracy is being plotted against Turkey. The main agents of this worldwide consiracy is history, rationalism, logic and facts. The poor Turkish "victims" of this conspiracy take as their last refuge the obsessive denials of genocides committed by them, falsifying history and inventing a Turkic superrace as the author of all civilization and whose main representatives are the Anatolian Turks. When exposed for crooks they are Turks , instead of modesty and repentence, display hatred and blame their critics on moral grounds. It goes without saying that they are as before totally unable to face their evil past. But don't we know this Turkish game ad nauseam yet ? > Mass murderers, nomadic turks..etc...this is not a good game sir.< Genocides are never a good game, even though they might be as successful as in the case of the Young Turks and their brave continuator Kemal. Denials of a crime by a criminal caught red-handed only aggravate his hopeless case. > But if you want to play ..i just dont recommend such bad games to anyone in the region.Nobody wins:)< Your türk arkadaş, Isaak Haskiya, a reserve officer of the Turkish army, has a different story to tell. He doesn't disclose the whole foul game played by Turkey in the region and against the US and Israel , but a careful reader can easily infer what he preferred to omit and distort. Turkey wants to deceive everybody and become the sole winner. However, so far the results of this foul Turkish game are miserable. Nagorno-Karabakh is firmly in Armenian hands. The Azeris are sour comparing the boastful Turkish promises and their own defeats and plight and they are no longer as eager as they were in 1991-1993 to become part of Greater Turkey. A Kurdish state has been firmly established in Northern Iraq. In Central Asia and across Russia Pan-Turkic propaganda has lost its initial momentum. More and more Americans and Israelis are waking up to the mortal threat posed by Turkey's Moslem and jingoistic ambitions and actions. It seems that Nemesis is slowly turning her eyes against Turkey to mete out a just punishment for her heinous crimes against humanity.
