Mansoor: Understanding the most "misunderstood" religion

Have you ever wondered why Islam is so easily capable of being misunderstood despite the Koran loudly proclaiming that it is an easy book to understand. No other religion keeps bleating that it is misunderstood. Is Allah so incompetent that He cannot make us understand His message?

014.004 YUSUFALI: We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom (Also read 39:28).

The pages and pages of material from the pens of Muslims are enough to condemn Islam for what it is, a violent ideology intolerant of all other faiths. Let me quote you some stuff from the pages of books you revere. Koran 2:88 YUSUFALI: They say, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word: we need no more)." Nay, Allah's curse is on them for their blasphemy: Little is it they believe.

002.161 Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind;

In 2:161 you read Allah not only cursing unbelievers on his own behalf but also on behalf of angels and mankind forgetting that mankind also consists of infidels.

Bukhari: Volume 5, Book 59, Number 583:

Narrated Abdullah:

When the Prophet entered Mecca on the day of the Conquest, there were 360 idols around the Ka'ba. The Prophet started striking them with a stick he had in his hand and was saying, "Truth has come and Falsehood will neither start nor will it reappear.

You prophet shows his intolerance of the belief and faith of his own people by destroying and insulting their sacred idols. As a tolerant moderate (if you are one) Muslim can you approve of what Muhammad did in Makka that day. If you approve then you must also approve of the destruction and desecration of the sacred symbols of others faiths by Muslims ever since that fateful day.

From the History of Tabari, Vol 8, Page 29-30: From his share of captive women, the prophet gave his son-in-law, Ali a slave girl, Raytah b Hilal to enjoy her at his will. He also presented Uthman b Affan, his son-in-law, another slave girl Zainab b Hayan, and bestowed another girl (name unknown) to his father-in-law Oman Ibn Khatab. Omar gave the girl that girl to his son Abdullah. Most of the Prophet's other elite companions received slave girls as gifts.

You see the Prophet here giving slave girls to his favourites to enjoy at their will. Your prophet had a nice way of rewarding his family and friends. Does this not strike you as the prophet buying their loyalty using the bodies of helpless slave girls? Do you approve of what your prophet did to those poor slave girls, Mansoor??? .So much for the lifestyle and practices of your holy prophet. You see, Mansoor, infidels like me have read the Koran, hadith and sira carefully.

You have forgotten one little difference. Angels cannot be touched by diseases or be harmed by the denizens of the earth. So the microscopic AIDS virus can affect us but dog saliva is nothing to angels. The slogan ‘prevention is the best cure is' meaningless for Gabriel.

The great archangel Gabriel shivering with fear when confronted by a puppy is comical. My little mind laughed at the incompetence of the archangel.

How come no Muslim is able to clearly articulate what they mean by spiritual and physical purity. Does reciting Koranic verses that abuse and curse unbelievers make you feel spiritually pure? Does washing parts or your hands and feet and snorting a few drops of water make your physically pure?

Ill-minded clerics?? I have shown you the mind of your prophet by quoting from the Koran, hadith and sira. Could these clerics who follow your prophet's teaching have caught their illness from the prophet's actions?

We depend on our perceptions because Allah made us dependent on them. Why do you make it into a human fault?

Mansoor, you have not read your Koran. 017.016-17 YUSUFALI: When We decide to destroy a population, We (first) send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things of this life and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then (it is) We destroy them utterly. How many generations have We destroyed after Noah? and enough is thy Lord to note and see the sins of His servants.

028.058 And how many populations We destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty)! now those habitations of theirs, after them, are deserted,- All but a (miserable) few! and We are their heirs!

I have counted more than ten verses where Allah exults over his destruction of whole populations. Since He destroys whole towns innocent women and babes in arms must also have been killed mercilessly. Where do see the most loving, caring and forgiving Allah in these killing verses?
