To Mansoor: The truth is Allah favours the unbelievers!

Mansoor, reading this, another dark though occured to me. Why has Allah favoured infidels with the ability to delve into the depths of His knowledge? Muslims, his devoted come a poor second when tryin to understand the secrets of Allah's universe. Allah has allowed the infidels rather than Muslims to make great advances in understandin his creation.

This verse also reveals Allah at his bombastic best. Why does Allah come on as a narcissistic, egocentric being ful of self-love trying to impress puny humans like us with his greatness. The verse almost sounds like Allah is pleading for recognition of His supremeness from His created beings.

What can I do if the Creator whishes to hide Himself from me. On the one hand He claims to have all kinds of powers and He wants everyone in the world to recognise it but insists on hiding Himself behind His prophets. With all His powers He could easily reveal Himself to all but either does not have all the powers He claims for Himself or does not want to show Himself to us.

It is not infidels who boast of our knowledge but Allah and Muslims. The verse you have quoted (2:255) is a typical example of Allah's empty boastfulness. When we infidels point out how hollow Allah sounds with his self-trumpeting Muslims tells us just you wait till Judgment day and Allah is going to tear you limb from limb and burn you into charcoal. We infidels know that Judgment day is going to take an infinte time coming as these boasts of Allah are just hot air. He has not demonstrated any power to us. Just some so-called prophets coming and claiming they are Allah's megaphones is not going to convince unbelievers like me.

You bet I am. Where has this Allah of yours revealed His powers? In the disasters that strike the world like eartquakes, tsunamis, and diseases? Show us one year in human history when no such event took place and Allah claimed responsibility for protecting humans from these works of Shaitan. Allah is powerless to stop Satan from doing his work. Where is Allah's self-proclaimed power? So why should I express thanks to this powerless, cruel Being.

What is this gobbledygook? What are you trying to say? That everything needs something to revolve around? And since you go around the Kaba in an anti-clockwise direction and planets and electrons (infidel science tells us that electrons don't do any revolving, they are just smudged out in space around the nucleus) Muslims see this as a sign of this Allah who is so shy of revealing Himself toHiis creation.

You also called my post 'malign'. Have you read the Koran and what Allah says about unelievers like me? Let me remind you. We are called unclean, blind, deaf and dumb. Our parents, children and family are told to shun us. Muslims are told to take up arms against us and kill us and are guaranteed paradise for killing and getting killed in the process (9:111). Why do you think my merely pointing out some of the horrors your prophet committed and the terror verses in the Koran is malign?

Why has Allah filled the world with His signs rather than speak to us directly? Is He asking us to take part in some kind of treasure hunt with Allah as the treasure? Or is it just that He is incapable of communicating with us.
