Mansoor, you told me in a previous post that Muslims have mastered the science and art of chewing up bullets. So I am lobbing tomatoes at you. Show us that you can now stomach the tomatoes I throw at you. Don't dodge them. Try and digest them. They are much more digestible than bullets.

Is the Koran basesless. Are the hadith of Bukhari baseless. Is the Sira of Ibn Ishaq baseless. I quote extensively from them. So far, apart from merely saying that I am making baseless allegations, you have not disproved anything I have said. If that is true then all the three sources of Islam are baseless. The Banu Nadir women were enslaved. Read Bukhari:

Volume 5, Book 59, Number 512: Narrated Anas: The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still dark and then said, "Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned." Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her manumission as her 'Mahr'.

There are innumerable shahi hadith that prove Aisha was six when she was betrothed and in Muhammad's bed when nine. Prove to us otherwise using shahi hadith and Islamically accepted sira.

I have read worse things about the OT prophets. How does that make Muhammad come out smelling of roses. You are just saying that because other prophets behaved badly your prophet did nothing wrong in imitating them. That is what the Americans call a copout. If David killed Uriah to get at his beautiful wife Bathsheba, is Muhammed justified in torturing and killing Kinana al Rabi to marry Safiya?

The author of the article may be a Christian brother to me but I would be an atheist brother to the man who wrote the article. Since you so approve of the NT and OT your pedigree is more with Christians than is mine.

Questions

(1) Why is it now that having more than one wife or having a concubine is considered sinful by most modern-day fundamentalist Chrisitans?..........

(2) Another even simplier question is how about all the great men of the bible that had so many wives, not just concubines. There was nothing wrong with this in the OT and never mentioned as bad in the NT……

The website link you have given sure opened my ‘concealed eyes'. You are telling me that since the ‘corrupted' bible of the Christians and Jews say that keeping concubines, slaves etc is just fine with Yahweh, it is also fine with Allah and so fine with Muslims.

Yes, the website has opened my eyes, de-rusted my heart and rewired my brain circuits to understand Islam's stand on concubines and slaves. But my re-wired brain circuits are still not up to coping with your approving of what the corrupt bible of the Christians approve of. I got a headache trying to figure that one out. I need help from a superior Muslim brain.

The website also filled my ‘empty bag' with the nugget I have pasted above. Now my re-wired brain circuits understand why many Muslim men have ‘kept women' and eagerly seek out prostitutes when they visit the West or East. The kings of the OT are fine examples to follow for Muslims.
