Victor Orbán has become Putin's man in the EU, refusing to condemn the Russian aggression and Putin by name, and refusing to allow transfer of weapons to Ukraine through Hungary.
This led to a fallout between him and Polish president, hitherto strong allies against the EU's liberal elite. He is showing why I always said that his illiberal project binds him with autocrats like Putin and Erdogan (in Poland it is different as Russian threat trumps everything else, largely for historical reasons).
