The UAE is in the uneviable position of a post-Arabic former dominance of the world's global supply of energy and are seeking some form of defense against the compromise caused by the Iranian Islamic Regime's proxy takeover of the primary influences of the regional supply of foreign energy reserves.
America's influences are compromised as well.
In fact, the entire region is undergoing a transformational transfer of influences since the Abraham Accords were proffered, but are now under closer scrutiny to see if they can be undermined and replaced by alternative powers of ambition. The Russian has closed off the supply to Europe of energy resources and the Middle East is under the threat of the Iranain Islamic Regime, especially through Hormuz.
If the Iranian Islamic Regime can hold power on both side of the strait, they will hold the sword of Damacles over the world's more important supply of energy and then they will not only be financially in a position to dictate terms, eventualy they will be nuclear backed as well.
The Iranian Islamic Regime fumes on the one side and the Russian scrambling in through Syria from the Ukraine, where will the West be able to repulse any of this and keep Saudi Arabia on the sidelines while they attempt to force Israel to capitulate. How many understand where this is going?
