It is more than apparent that the Russian expansion into the Ukraine has exceeded and depleted all rational expectations of success for the Russians (as if there was any rationality for the incursion in the first place), since it appear that the status of forces is not where it is thought they should be; and with multiple theater fronts diverting attention and resources, it is further apparent that any resolution of any objectives is still too far off to speculate upon.
If nothing else presents itself as a potential for occurance, it is the likelihood that extenuating circumstances will keep this going on for quite some time into the future. Who is prepared for that?
It is said that 60 nations are supporting the Ukraine in one way or another and as was expounded upon quite some time ago, no one is in a position to determine if an ending is in sight.
So, anyone: where does it go from here? Even with the changing of erstwhile alliances near and far on both sides, this one is going to be loud before the guns go silent. And lest we forget, it will not take all that much before the nuclear option begins to take a close swing at the possibilities of implementation; right?
See this forum's other take on the Russian's nuclear warning, already in a state of threat.
