Christians and Muslims... get a Life! There is enough Land for both of you!

Both Christians and Muslim posting here sound like used car salesmen. "Ohh the Koran is better, you just have to read it all" "No, no buy the Bible, its full of love and peace... after the old testament that is" "... I like the Koran more because it gives me more miles to the gallon" "..But the Bible has 4 wheel drive and it's a newer religion and it come from the Jewish family, and they have really good products."

There are many things i don't agree with in this world including some government, most politics and all religion. However, I do believe that everyone is his own master and we all have the ability to choose no matter the situation we are in. We all have thought, intelligence and willpower. We can either fight for our believes internally and externally or give in and become content and sedated. Like happy California cows, fat, oblivious, ignorant with no sense or real freedom waiting to be slaughtered and converted into a Big Mac. Always in search for greener grass but eating the junk that is feed by the farmer trough a glass tube with 1000 channels. Receiving drugs to alter their physical appearance because of the insecurities branded in their skins. Forgetting about real values and their own strength.

We need a change in America, we need a change in the world. In humanity as a whole. However, the change will not come from a politician, a priest or a commercial. The change can only come from ME. Educating my children, letting him know how to think for himself, know himself, how to read books, people and intentions. And its very important to learn from History and its consequences.

Even if I think I am too old to push change, I am wrong. For the elder have more obligation than the young to rectify the wrong in our world. I have seen the world, I have heard the voices, smelled the scents, felt the pain and pleasures and tasted victories and failures. I become more part of this world the more I interact with it. I become godlike and in sync. But I have to open my eyes and ears to be aware of it. That means sometimes to physically close my eyes and hold my hands against my ears to really perceive the world like it really is. Evils exist only in my mind... only in my thoughts.

Whether it may be anger, hatred, racism, sexism, phobias or even the fear of a god that loves me but will punish me for eternity if I dare disobey a BOOK written by men. Confusion or control, orders or truth, conditional or innate. It is my choice. I am the first teacher of my children whether I like it or not. Whether I want that responsibility or not.

However, if I fail, I will not only fail to my child but to humanity itself. If I relinquish the obligation I force my child to inherit an enormous emptiness that will be eager to be filled by any means readily available, whether it maybe cults, magazines, radio, TV, Internet, or any other type of mass media that is hungry to convert the young inquisitive mind into a consumer or a murderer. A droid that will try his best to buy respect, buy love and human warmth, buy feelings while drowning in uncertainties and confusion.

I have to ask myself what do I want to leave behind in this glimpse of time I have as Life? Something transcendental? Or something that will die with me? We can only teach what we think we know, and we can only ask when we accept that we do not know. So I ask you... DOES IT REALLY MATTER?? If i like chicken more than beef or I cant stand onion or Indian food. Its all personal opinion. Personal preference! There is no right book to follow or wrong, misleading out of the context blasphemous literacy. Religion is for people to argue, and to follow blindly, PEACE is universal. RESPECT knows no language or border, LOVE is the antidote for fear and hate. See inside yourself and ask yourselves if it is really worth it? Fighting to be right, quoting scriptures and verses out of books to justify your weak faith when you feel it threatened. Christians Jews and Muslims, there is enough Land for all of you! And the day you begin to live amongst each other and treat each other with great respect you will forget why you didn't like each other, why you always have an urge to argue and win an empty discussion. Just remember to teach your children love and tolerance, respect and individualism. Everyone is different, that's why you should love everyone the same.
