... Repentance is NOT optional!

Matthew 3:2
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 3:8
Bear fruit that befits repentance,

"I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Mark 1:4

... And if you don't repent...

Revelation of John 16:10-11
The fifth angel poured his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was in darkness; men gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

... If you 'believe' in Jesus... You will 'repent' of your sins and turn to God... As He commanded... ;)
