Well, that is the opinions the Saudi Sheikh from 50-60 years ago whom you quote, whom was using a source from 11th century. But you dont see the opinion being the same now as the movement of Sun has been made clear.

Turkey change their solar system from geocentric to heliocentric and there is no issue since the Quran and hadith did not say specifically about appointed course of Sun by Creator in specific. No trial made by scholars for transition of solar system made. As in Islam there is no such thing as Holy Spirit teaching scientific facts towards scholars

How are you certain? Abu Ya'la in his work Tabaqatal-Hanabilah (Biographical Entries of the Hanabali Scholars) quotes the unanimous consensus (ijma) of all Muslim scholars that the earth is round in 10th century.

Spherical earth was notion among the scholars in 12th century. "Fakr Al Razi" pointed to the Sphericity of the earth in his clarifying book "Mafatih Alkaib"

The Quran never says it is flat. Thats why you have scholars in 12th century saying earth is spherical. While if some say earth is flat. That is due to the philosophy of that period.

It is for the readers to judge shall your points be taken seriously or not. As most of them are merely toying with arab words.
