Dear Dr Daniel Pipes,

I read with interest your article, on " Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy" with a mix of frankly, serious trepidation, and fear, but at the end of it, relief that you have elucidated the growing mass, of ranging problems facing the USA Government, both now and in the future, in respect to the Middle East. Right now, the Middle east is a tinderbox, waiting to explode. Enemies of the USA and Westerners, and Israel, grow exponentially daily, those whom in their hearts are enemies, sometimes for economic and strategic reasons practice Taqqiyeh in order to fool the West.

I thank you sincerely for being able to explain these issues to us.

In modern history, it was shown that just prior to WW2, Mr. Chamberlain, Prime Minister, of the once powerful United Kingdom, infamously signed an accord of a peace treaty with Herr Hitler of Germany. He returned a media hero claiming it meant, "Peace In Our Time"...those words echoed hauntingly through the past 60 years or more.

It represented the folly and appeasement cowardice of those whom are afraid to confront dangerous, anti Semitic genocidal mass murderers and international bullies, whom, Diplomacy and peace treaties do not mean anything to them, nor the paper that it was written on. Treaties were seen as merely ways to buy more time in order that they could develop their stratagem to a highly advanced planning stage to implement. It later turned out that history has judged that "Peace In Our Time" accord as a waste of time, energy and resources, and an epic fail, on behalf of those of Chamberlains ilk, whom wished to avoid at any cost, any fight with Herr Hitler and the Third Reich, of evil.

History showed that appeasement to evil will not stop that monster from advancing. It was a particular Philosopher Edmunde Burke whom wrote,

" Evil wins when good men do nothing".

Horace Mann once also write something to the effect that "Tolerance when applied to evil is a crime".

I now look to the present, but in order to judge the potential for success of Westerner current Government policy towards Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the Israel situation. Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama will need to face the unfolding situations in the entire world, not just the mid east. The threat of Islamists are world wide. No one has been able to explain it like you have Dr Pipes.

Dr Pipes, thank you very much, You are quite right indeed, Mr. Obama is going to have to show the world that He is made of sterner mettle, that He is a genuine Statesman, a President that USA will be grateful to and honor in the future.. That He is NOT an appeaser. When Obama referred to making or mending relationships with the Middle East, I hope he means, from a position of power and not from a appeasement of evil position. In the Middle East any signs of weakness are taken by islamists to mean that their tactics of terror and threat and intimidation are successful.

You have proven, your insights into the Middle East are spot on and accurate once again. Thank you for reminding me of some things I had temporarily forgotten.

The threat of a potential strike on USA with a EMP strike is terrifying, yet Obama must find a way to defend USA from such attacks, and do it very fast. USA needs to wake up right now and realize that the world is not safe, and that failure to appreciate the dangers of rogue states in the world will make the position USA untenable and dangerous to many millions in USA.

Of all the close and loyal allies of USA, Israel has the most to fear, I pray that USA will immediately move its troops into Israel to defend them, and install a missile defenses system that will be 100 per cent effective, and patrol the areas around Israel with satellites to give early warning of any rogue nations attacks upon Israel.

Iran leader has stated clearly in Arabic ( thank you MEMRI for the translations of mad Ahmadinejads threats )that it is His (and Iran's Mad Mullahs and theocracy) policy to be determined to destroy both USA and Israel and make their destruction possible.

This is clearly something which the United Nations must stop prevaricating over and act decisively and send Ahmadinejad, in the words roughly paraphrased of "Hans Bricks" ( said in a fake Northern Korean accent) from the fame of "Team America movie" "write you a very stern letter telling you how very angry we are".

The United Nations, if it fails this, yet another great test, of its ability to respond and deal with rogue nations, and the imminent threat to world peace, must be disbanded and no longer funded by all Westerners. An attack even if unsuccessful against the Israelis and USA will mean nuclear war erupting in the entire Middle East,and the potential destruction of the entire human civilization and inability for life to exist. There is in this complex dilemma facing Obama, the implication, if Mr. Obama backs down with cowardice, the USA will lose its credibility forevermore in the world and it will be all bets off for what shall replace the USA as a power for Life Liberty and pursuit of happiness.

I pray Mr. Obama will prove to be a Patriot of USA and defender of all Israel. Only time will tell.
