"What if Hamas appears like the David in front of the Goliath?"
Interesting analogy. Muslim countries which hate Israel are fighting a war by proxy via Hamas; likewise, David was alone in his courage to fight Goliath.
Remember, however, David refused the armor of his king (Saul). Hamas, conversely, is nothing without this "armor".
The "armor" which Hamas, Hezbolla use is not just made up of Kassam and Grad rockets supplied by their "kings" (Syria and Iran, courtesy Egypt); it includes brain-washing of the masses from birth that Israel is the cause of all problems - the governments of Muslims countries inculcate this so their citizenry won't realize the truth, and point the finger at their own leadership.
While a whole army and it's king stood by and watched, David alone confronted Goliath with the words, "Who is this uncircumsized Philistien?", and, after declaring "THE BATTLE IS THE LORD'S" killed the giant with a single sling-shot, cut the head off, and kept it in his tent that night, singing to it.
Yes, rockets are still being fired into Israel; but now Gazans are paying a price for this.
And David became the greatest king in (Biblical) history.
Woe to those who get supplies through Egypt.
