Prophecy Not Controlled by Human Expectation, But by Fulfillment According to the Word of the LORD in the Holy BibleReader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jan 26, 2009 at 17:50 Once again we read where the writer of the previous post would have it both ways, that either the Jews tampered with the scriptures, or now the Romans. In the sense that after the crucifixion, there were attempts to discredit the truth of Jesus Christ being sentenced to death on the cross and the Chief rulers of the time paid worthless individuals to spread false rumors; yes, the false rumors were sent out. The Holy Bible forewarns of those things. Later, at the direction of followers of Caesar and his minions there were other attempts to discredit the expansion of the Gospel, but even these were items that Jesus Christ and later the Apostle Paul said would happen, that the true follower of Jesus Christ had the Holy Spirit to guard against such things, which happen even today. Among the lies spread by the Adversary is the one about Jesus Christ not performing His own miracles, which the previous writer dismisses for his own unbelief the words of Jesus Himself: Matthew 9:6, Mark 2:10, and Luke 5:24; "But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise,(the miracle of healing the sick man) and take up thy couch, and go into thine house." What this points to and what is missed by everyone that does not recognize Jesus Chris as LORD AND Saviour is that He is both the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is the Father Everlasting, the Spirit that no man can ever see but must be worshipped in spirit and in Truth in obedience to His love; and He is the Son that was sent to mankind to reveal the Truth about such things and became the sacrifice for our sins (and as is prompted in another post from the same previous writer, resurrected and in control at all times, even during the three days in the tomb); and having been resurrected is at the right hand of the Father awaiting the call to return and reclaim Jerusalem. All other things that try to dismiss what the Holy Bible says about Jesus Christ are in violation to the Truth of the Word of the LORD. Unless that Truth is embraced for the mercy and love of Almighty God that it provides, then no truth will come from the lack of faith demonstrated by anyone who does not belief in the LORD Jesus Christ, no matter what human logic tries.
