the truth about Al MahdiReader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by sTs (United Arab Emirates), Jan 6, 2009 at 03:45 Al Mahdi is a sign before the coming of the truth, That is Jesus Christ the Great Messenger from our LORD. Al Mahdi will be a step before the emergence of our beloved Jesus Christ (Pbuh) Al Mahdi will not be able to defeat the anti-christ, we look forward for the coming of Jesus(pbuh) to do that , we Sunni (1500 Million), Our view of Al Mahdi is different from the Shia'a (150 million) We Sunni believe as above, while the Shia'a believe Al Mahdi to be the 12th apostle of Hussain (son of Ali - the cousin of Prophet Muhammad) a saint they worship, they worship Ali and his sons - we don't believe in most of their thinking (ideology). - they have great respect for Ali and his sons more than for Muhammad. They say that Gabriel made a grave mistake by descending on Muhammad instead of Ali. Al-Mahdi as we are informed by Prophet Muhammad, will emerge from the east (his name will be like the prophet name) he is not a prophet of God, he will gather the Muslims on one word and will lead Muslim armies to conquer the Jews in Jerusalem and his army will reach Rome and conquer the Vatican, then he will march back to Jerusalem on the word that the Antri-Christ has emerged in Jerusalem (The Holy Land). The anti-christ will be joind as we are told by 70,000 strong Jewish soldiers and will kill the people left and right. When Al-Mahdi reach back in Jerusalem, he will not be able to defeat the anti-christ, (He seems to have strong magical powers) Al Mahdi will flee to a mount (called the white minaret) near Damascus, where the anti-christ will besiege them on top of the hill until Al Mahdi and his followers feel they will die from hunger and thirst. They will think to themselves "if we are to die we should die fighting", they decide that after dawn prayer they will go down and fight the anti-christ, when the dawn prayer time arrived, Jesus descends on them and pray with them the dawn prayer, they all go down and Jesus cut the head of the anti-christ, break the cross, kill the pig, abolish the Jizya (tax) and Muslims will kill the Jews, even the stone and tree will tell the Muslim "O Muslim, here a Jew behind me, come and kill him" you can read on the details of what will Jesus do according to Muhammad sayings by using the following link http://www.inter-islam.org/Biographies/Hazisa135.html - you can read the Muslim perspective of our beloved Jesus Christ the Messiah you say "It is the delusion that brings the Middle East to its knees " - NO, it is the lack of faith of the people and their leaders that bring the Muslims to their knees - but things will change - Islam started weak and gathered strength to conquered the world - it will gain strength everytime there is a tragic violent catastrophy until such time we will conquer Jerusalem and the descend of Jesus (pbuh) If you read the histroy (Chronological order) of things happening since the 1920s, you will find a great change happening in the region, bring nearer the times to ... the people (Not regimes) are gaining more powers than before. The people of the region do not trust their leaders, they will topple them one by one. Submitting....
