Why not help some rabbits become cannibals ?Reader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Jan 4, 2009 at 15:35 Hi, kman! I like your comments very much! They are so thoughtful and manifest so much human experience and common sense. Perhaps I don't quite agree with the hope that see in Christian theology. Otherwise I fully support and admire what you have to say. So please keep posting on this forum! I am sure I am not the only one of your avid readers! > That a lost cause even without the latest weaponry, those who multiply like rabbits can swamp any newer technological military.< Multiplying like rabbits can be an asset if and only if the adversary is unwilling to use the demographic sword against the Moslem rabbit. Can you imagine what will happen if one day the borders of Europe and America are closed to any Moslem immigration and colonisation? Overpopulation might produce the effect no modern weaponry can. Moselms would decimate themselves within a short period of time. One may firmly rely on the muderous and psychopathic instincts that dominate the Moslem world to the job efficiently under the conditions of internal implosion. Again this may work if and only if those big-mouthed apostles of misunderstood humanitarianism are first sent to dar-al-Islam to stay there and taste the sweet fruit of Moslem "humanism" and "gratitude". >They have a strong desire to die & escape circumstances of life that their own government has driven them into. The Imams convince them that they can do anything they wish to express their hate & rage. After tha - paradise. It's to bad, they barely know how to read & are kept uninformed. Almost a no-brainer for them.< Absolutely right. But suppose this hatred could be used against Moslem themselves? Moslem hatred again is a weapon with multiple uses if handled correctly. Moslems hate each other as intensely as they hate the kafirs. The Saudi-Persian war e.g. wouldn't be so hard to be provoked by a third party. Why shall the Moslems murder Jews when they are ready to murder each other instead? At any case, after the US withdrawal from Iraq the second act of Iraqi-Iranian war is inevitable. I for my part welcome it. And there are more such opportunities across the Moslem world. What is needed is a judicious diplomacy, some sense of history and much determination. It's how Byzantium survived all the Moslem storms and jihads until in the 14th c. one rebel emperor (John Cantacuzenos) allied himself with the Turk to beat his enemies with their help. The Turk came and never left. Within a century since that "stalwart alliance" with the Turk ,strengthened by sending the emperor's daughter to the sultan's harem, the Byzantine empire was wiped off teh face of the earth - enslaved and terrorized by the "stalwart ally" ... Looks familiar and quite modern, doesn't it? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
