A True Prophet is Known By His Completed Prophecies to Determine the Ones to Be Fulfilled - Therein Lies the Truth of Jesus Christ and the Holy BibleReader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jan 14, 2009 at 19:41 Each religion has their belief system, and if there were harmony and tolerance amongst and between them, there would be no war, nor the envy and strife associated with them; for as someone sagaciously noted sometime back, all wars are rooted in the beliefs of the warring factions. It can be categorically stated that this is true when examining the seeds of hostilities between and amongst the Israel nation, the Muslim community and the Christian sectors. While there are many religious systems, for the sake of the principal topic of this post, we will confine this examination to the ones listed here. We will start with the beliefs of the prophets of the Holy Bible, and of the prophecy related to the Great Prophet, the Holy One of Israel, from whom all prophecies are given, and from whom all instructions about prophecies are received. All other prophets heard from and written about in the Holy Bible derive their voice from the Word of the LORD, either in direct revelation, or by vision and influences of the Holy Spirit. These prophecies of the Truth of Almighty God found in the Holy Bible can only be attributable to Him by verification of His Spirit. There is no other authentication. Therefore, there can be no alternatives to seeking out the Word of the LORD to received His Truth. Unbelief in these precepts of the spiritually confirmed Holy Bible does not invalidate them, neither by alternative forms of interpretation, human dispensation, or by any other means known to humans in their fallen state. No amount of pronouncement by any individual or groups not proclaiming the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ can ever change that, not thousands of years ago, not hundreds of years or decades ago, not today. The sanctity of the Word of the LORD is still as vibrant and viable today as it was first spoken and then written, and in that vein there are pronouncements against false prophetic activities that remain in effect today. The validity of a prophetic observation requires that there be fulfillment of a precept announcement of times past, thereby providing the test of its validity in the previous fulfillments. The Holy Bible provides that validity, influenced and with reinforcement by the Holy Spirit. It remains exclusive in a 100% perfect rate of fulfillment. To understand that requires faith in Jesus Christ to underscore the belief and assurance of the Truth each prophetic passage provides. Otherwise, we see the confusion of those that do not hold to a faith in Jesus Christ and they try to substitute alternatives in order to assuage the loss of understanding in such things. Therefore not all who claim to be prophets are, and in this day of the written Word of the LORD, any who claim ‘new revelation' since the time of the last written Word of the Holy Bible are suspect. In the final analysis, in the absence of accepting Jesus Christ as LORD, the Holy One of Israel, prophecy is a very dangerous thing to leave to human understanding alone, so belief in Jesus Christ as LORD is necessary to gain any understanding of such things. Only in faith in Jesus Christ can one achieve a spiritual connection with Heavenly things, and this is a must for any on earth who desire to know the Truth.
