No Surprise - Inevitability as Prescribed in the Holy Bible Has Come to the Facts on the GroundReader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jan 27, 2009 at 11:51 It took less than a week for the President of the United States to make his intentions, and his subliminal desires, known as he opens his dialogue with the Arab and Muslim world. Lacing his comments with repeating the already open fact that his family is Muslim (and when one reads his own words, he has not completely dispensed with his familial attachments), he proposes to engage that part of the world with a new respect never before accorded by a sitting American president. This shows either an ignorance of history in America's dealing with the Muslim world from Thomas Jefferson and others along the north African coast and other places, or there is the idea that because of the familial connection, a crossover approach to associate by identification is the intent. Either way, it requires compromise with an enemy mentality against the United States and similar allies, most notable one being Israel. Even as Israel is named as an ally of the United States, the idea that Israel must still make the ultimate sacrifice in order to gain some semblance of peace is place once again on the table, for the president said that a ‘contiguous' ‘Palestinian' state is still the way to obtain that sort of peace. What is being talked around is the fact that the enemy of Israel will not cease until they have all of the land under Muslim rule. Since those who have understanding know that the truth of Israel's existence in perpetuity is not determined by human logic, it is then plain to see that the world's attempt to obtain peace at Israel's expense will never come to fruition. Instead, we can count on the situation being resolved in Israel's favor. Unfortunately, Israel will endure some of the world's greatest inhumanities against any particular society in order to complete the will of her Eternal Sovereign; ultimately Israel will come through the trials set before her in triumph, and her relationship with the Holy One of Israel will be set forever. Unfortunately for the United States of America, in his overture to the Muslim world, the President of the United States fails to observe and neglects to act on that inevitability.
