I think we are mostly of the same line of thought ...Reader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by kman (United States), Jan 5, 2009 at 23:06 I also, see Obama as a master of the "feint'. He will mis-direct many into believing he is either on board with them or just "harmless'. He has taken care of the Liberal and black voters of the U.S. It is now time to get everyone else into the pattern of just letting him get into office without any trouble. The "Rick Warren" thing was very agile and agin speaks to the ignorance of most of our population that he would try that. The maneuvering doesn't speak to me of weakness. It speaks more to me of how he campaigned - knowing full well what to say to get votes in the right places. It is very telling that he only got 53% of the population despite "handily" winnig the elction. I give him and his organization high marks for being extremely savvy in the political department. I don't normally quibble over minutiae, but this is to crucial to just "wait". What we can do about it is another thing. Not much at this point except "pray". The dice have, truly, been cast. I have watched "world events" for so long, and just have this overwhelming feeling of mankind's "pregnant" moment. Obama and his moves aren't the entire reason I see on a slightly different slant than you. The "slight" can be very important when seeing what is coming about, come about, in the theater that is transpiring.
