I don't agree with anyone all of the time. I imagine that this is true for most if not all, of us. One good thing about President Bush is that you get what you see. He says what he thinks and he does what he says. I don't agree with him on a number of things, but at least I know where he and I stand. I am not nearly so certain about our President-elect. Public figures are impossible to know, unless you are well connected. I use the example of O.J. Simpson. I had thought that he was a great guy. Even if he did not do any of the things that he has been accused of, my view of what a man he is was seriously flawed. Our political leaders disappoint me time and again for this reason.
Overall, I disagree with President-elect Obama's program far more than President Bush. However, I will be pleased if President-elect Obama is as easy to read and understand as President Bush has been. Something is telling me that this is NOT the case. We will just have to wait and see.
