The Holy Bible Answers That - Almighty God the Father is Always in Control.Reader comment on item: Insight into Obama's Middle East Policy? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jan 26, 2009 at 18:14 Again, we read the attempt of the previous writer to take scripture out of context to make a point of human logic. He asks, (paraphrased and simplified), "who is on control?" Not wanting to make an example of the lack of insight in the question and the preamble clauses of that post, we shall cut to the chase again, and present the Gospel as it is intended. In the garden, Almighty God found that Adam sinned and provided the animal sacrifice for the covering of the sin. This practice (a symbol and foreshadowing of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Chris on the cross) was later codified by Almighty God and given to Moses as the Torah. These were later followed by the prophets and the writings, all pointing to the Holy One of Israel who was and is the Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ. The entry of Jesus Christ as a man (and at the same time God the Son) fulfilled the prophecies regarding His first visit to Israel. He provided the revelation of the love of Almighty God and the fulfillment of the scripture for redeeming fallen mankind, dying on the cross at the request of the chief rulers at the hands of the Roman authorities. Three days later, Jesus Christ rose from the dead, by His own power, made Himself known to the disciples and Apostles for a few weeks, then ascended into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father. He later sent Almighty God ther Holy Spirit for the witness to the believers in faith. These are facts in evidence, both scripturally and secularly (for one cannot make the argument being debated here if the world had not tried then and is trying now to dispel the Gospel. Believing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ has always been about having faith in Him (and thousands of thousands have died with that faith – really, who would do so without there being that cause of belief in Him), and asking for forgiveness of sins and having Him come in His Name into a believer's heart. Who is in control? In unbelief one cannot answer that question, ever. Only in believing in Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior can that question be answered. One should not ask that question unless a sincere heart is ready to receive the answer in the love that only Jesus Christ can provide in the truth of the Holy Bible. Almighty God has been, is and will forever be in control, and as the Scriptures say (Jesus speaking), " I and the Father are One."
