To Aamir Ali: Yes I have missed a lot. But I have not missed THIS despite living on Pluto. Part IReader comment on item: Ban Islam? Submitted by Plato (India), Sep 15, 2007 at 02:55 Aamir Ali, you wrote: >>While defending poor Sri Dev you forgot to see the track that from very title of this article to each comment on this platform. Islam is the target, and all of you one way or another targetting my beautiful and error free religion. I know this hurts you.Your knowledge about my religion is dangerously wrong. I can only feel sorry for you because your condition seems hopeless.<< Your complaint seems to be that a beautiful and error-free religion, Islam, is being targeted. You think that because Islam is beautiful and error free others like me are jealous and feel hurt that our religions fare poorly in comparison. Let us take a closer look at these beliefs of yours. As the saying goes beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. You consider a religion that makes its followers kill and get killed for their own selfish interest of reaching paradise beautiful (9:111). You consider a religion that hurls abuse and curses people of other faiths beautiful (9:28, 8:55, 2:88, 2:161). You consider as beautiful a religion whose god, Allah, claims He is Himself responsible for evil ( 113:2, 38:81-83) and then designs sadistic punishments (10:4, 14:16-17, 18:29….) for those who fall to His machinations. Why do Muslims insist on mangling the meaning of English words? Error-free religion Islam? Sperm coming from near the backbone is not an error? Bees eating fruit is not an error? Just two errors for now. Or probably like girls of the prophet's time maturing early, in his time our testicles did not hang down but were somewhere near the backbone and bees of his time ate fruit. >>I know this hurts you.Your knowledge about my religion is dangerously wrong.<< Yes and it hurts you, otherwise why would you be posting here, about a religion which insists on dishonestly calling itself peaceful, wants to hurt, abuse, curse, humiliate and inflict sadistic punishments on us, the unbelievers. We realize how dangerous it will be for us to take your word that Islam is a beautiful and peaceful religion. >>I can only feel sorry for you because your condition seems hopeless.<< And you should feel sorry for yourself and your religion that it is so easily exposed for what it really teaches. Read on. >>Indians cannot forget the way Muslims ruled and beautified India...<< Yes they did beautify India, but after tearing down equally beautiful structures. Indians have forgotten and many have forgiven Islam for what they did. The History of India as told by its Own Historians Vol III. (Sir H.M.Elliot, KCB and Professor John Dowson) Tarikh-I Alai or Khazainul Futuh of Amir Khusru Page 90-91: ‘He then determined on razing the BEAUTIFUL temple to the ground..the roof was covered with rubies and emeralds – in short, it was the holy place of the Hindus, which the Malik dug up from its foundations with the greatest care,' ánd the heads of the Brahmans and idolators danced from their necks and fell to the ground at their feet,'and the blood flowed in torrents…. Note, your historian himself considered the temple to be beautiful and yet this servant of Allah destroyed it. I could go on and on. But if you enjoyed these excerpts of the pleasure these believers in Allah got from humiliating the Hindus purchase the histories written by your Muslim historians and read about how the soil of India was soaked in the blood of its people from north to south and east to west. >>They did not humiliated or supressed Indians but the britishers did...<< How many times did the Muslims destroy the Somnath Temple. Your Muslim historians tell us that the sacred idol was carried off to Gazhni and made into footsteps. You think I am making this up. You are in Pakistan, so the glorious history of Islam in Pakistan/India should be available to you. I give you some extracts from what Muslim historians have written to show how gleefully Muslims inflicted humiliation on the Hindus. Page 70 of the same book: (writing about Sultan Allauddin Khilji adding to an existing mosque) ‘The stones were dug out from the hills and the temples of the infidels demolished to furnish a supply.' Page 74: Á firman was issued by Sultal Alauddin that the surviving prisoners should be massacred and beaten up into mortar for the fort….And a bastion was formed with an hundred thousand of their heads.' Page 74 on the conquest of Gujarat, Somnat…'The Sultan dispatched Ulugh Khan to Ma'bar and Gujarat for the destruction of the idol-temple of Somnat…He destroyed all the idols and temples of Somnat, "but sent one idol, the biggest of all the idols, the court of his godlike majesty…" (The historian does not mention what happened to the idol. Do you think he would have installed it in his palace and worshipped it???) Vol II Page 219: On the capture of Mirat. Ánd the fort was captured and a Kotwal appointed…, and all the idol temples were converted to mosques.' On the capture of Delhi: …'The city and its vicinity was freed from idols and idol-worship, and in the sanctuaries of the images of the Gods, mosques were raised by the worshippers of one God.' Now compare what the worshippers of one God did to what the British did. You also whine about what the crusaders did in a land far away from yours. How often have you heard the Hindus whine about what Muslims did in their (and also your) BEAUTIFUL country? Are you going to give us the hackneyed Muslim excuse that the people who committed those atrocities were not real Muslims? But then were the crusader Christians real Christians, or was the inquisition based on the bible? >>They have given India with monuments like Taj Mahal and alike. They are still earnings millions because of the Kind emperors of Islam..<< Have you forgotten Bamiyan. Your co-religionists destroyed something of even greater antiquity than the Taj, and for the Buddhists something even more beautiful. How many millions will future generations of Afghans lose because of Islam's iconoclasm? >>This is not possible to force and retain so many indians to become and remain Muslims...they themselves adopted this beautiful religion after high level of humiliation from their fellow Hindus due to cast system..which by the way still exiist in brutal form<< The Hindus don't deny that the caste system, as practiced, is a terrible blot on their society and they are making every effort to free themselves from it. But you are throwing stones while living in a glass house. What about the caste system in Islam? Islam has consigned fully 50% of humanity, women, to the status of a lower caste. They can pollute you if they touch you after wudu. They cannot be seen in public without a male relative. They have to cover themselves up in a black tent. They are worth only half a male in value. Muslims can buy and keep slaves and concubines. Women can be thrashed (brutalized) if you don't like their behaviour. And there is no sign that, unlike Hindu society, Muslims are willing to change their caste system. We also see the Hindus in Pakistan who numbered nearly 25% at partition dwindle to a microscopic minority by voting with their feet when confronted with this beautiful religion. >>Only islam makes masters and servents stand side by side during prayers...can anyone deny this????<< Nobody denies it. But can any Muslim deny that Islam prevents men and women standing together in prayer??? That woman cannot lead men in prayer??? Can any Muslim deny that Islam considers women a degree below men (2:228)??? >>This is unfortunately true that the world has not returned the same attitude of Muslims rulers.. << Well and truly spoken my dear Aamir. It is really unfortunate. The world unfortunately, and fortunately for Muslims, does not prevent people from converting to Islam as Muslims prevent Muslims from apostasising. The world does not impose jiziya on its Muslim minorities as the Caliphs did and as Aurangazeb and many of his predecessors did. The rest of the world does not ban Muslims from preaching a religion which asks Muslims to detest their hosts'religion even though non-Muslims cannot preach even religions which advice love and kindness towards other religions. I consider that unfortunate. But yet I would have it no other way. I will defend your right to preach your religion, curse and abuse me though it may. The only thing I will oppose about your religion is its call to kill unbelievers. Wishing a good Ramadan, Plato from Pluto.
