Christianity and Islam are not the same.

Jesus Christ as the Son of God is the basis of all Christianity. To understand how this can be, consider an egg. They egg has 3 parts, the shell, the yolk, and the white, yet one cannot exist without the other and only together do they make an egg. While you may only use one part to cook with, you must still have the other 2 parts to obtain the one part. So too, you have God the Father, God the Son(Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. Christianity is the completion of the Jewish faith and Jesus Christ represents the fullfilment of the prophecies in the old testament. Jesus represents the ultimate sacrifice that God did not ask Abraham to complete.. the sacrificing of his son. Instead this was to be a forshadowing of what was to come.. God sacrificing his son for mankind. Recognition of the Son is required to be a considered a "Christian" or Believer in Christ, from the greek word Christos. Even Christ himself forgave the Jews, understanding that they were not yet ready to accept the truth and still is waiting for them to recognize him. I thank my Jewish brothers and sisters for all the sacrifices they have made through the centuries to maintain their faith and pray someday they will open their hearts, minds and souls to the call of Christ and recognize him as who he is and join us. That is a journey, however, each must make on their own and I will not try to force it upon them. Each must come to their own understanding in their own time.

Christianity does not require the forcing of believe in Christ, it is patient and waits for the eyes, heart and soul of the willing to be opened to the truth and the acceptance of that truth must be heartfelt or it is false and then one is considered a hypocrit ... the only sin that Christ refused to forgive.

A faith, such as Islam that calls for the death and destruction of all non-believers I find must contain some error and cannot be the truth, else one would not need to submit to it out of fear and terror. If it truly were the truth, people would willingly accept it without fear of death and torture. What may have started as an honest attempt to understand the truth has been warped beyond recognition and to the point that any truth that it may have originally contained has been lost.

Please read your history again, Islam was not accepted willingly without fear of torture, retaliation or death in many places and in many places was indeed received at sword point. Unfortunately,historically, some Christians too fell prey to this practice and we ask for forgiveness for their actions.

America was indeed founded upon the basis of separation of church and state and yes, the first admendment does allow free speech, but there are limits to it and when the right of the Islamists to free speech impinges upon my rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, their right to free speech ends. Advocating my death because I choose not to accept the warped truth of Islam impinges upon my right to Life and therefore ends.

I will continue to pray for all Islamists to see the error of their ways and to ask God for forgiveness for straying from the true path and to have their eyes, heart and souls opened to the Light and Joy of the one true Faith.

As to legal issues, I will continue to fight to ensure that the rights of Islamists to Free Speech do not impinge on the rights of others to their rights of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. While you may continue to practice your beliefs, when these beliefs come in conflict with laws that guarantee the rights of others, I feel these must be enforced and Islamists in this country must follow the laws of this country.

Just as any other person, Islamist or non-Islamist, if you don't agree with the laws, work within the legal system to have the laws changed, recognize that you are fighting an uphill battle with those who will not want the laws changed and accept that or you always have the option of going to another country whose laws you do agree with. I do not want and will not roll over and accept the Sharia as it does not apply to me, so yes, I will use the US legal system to keep the Sharia out of the US legal code.
