Moderate Muslims on rampage

"moderate" Muslims in Calcutta, on whom the local communists depend on for electoral victories, go on rampage demanding the explusion from India of Taslima Nasreen, the writer from Bangladesh who is under death sentence from Islamic terrorists. Leftist "secularism" is a failure.

Army deployed after Calcutta riot

Troops have been deployed in the Indian city of Calcutta after
protests over a controversial writer turned into riots.

Police using tear gas and baton charges were unable to control
crowds calling for Bangladeshi feminist writer Taslima Nasreen to
leave India.
