Chances of SuccessReader comment on item: Poll: Israel Victory Gains Strength Submitted by Harry T (United States), Jul 6, 2018 at 18:40 If you were to give us, a percentage/odds on how likely you think Israel has both the foresight and intestinal fortitude to actually enact these (very sound) policies during the current Bibi/Trump era, what would that number look like? Personally, I think that between the unchallenged domination of the Israeli Courts, and an obviously torn Bibi who is constantly in need of steering by his more right-leaning coalition partners, we may be staring at another Sharon/Bush style wasted half-decade. But then again, pessimism is the name of the game when it comes to Israel, at least since Oslo. See the recent demolition of Netiv Haavot versus the non-demolition of the illegal Bedouin outpost. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. Daniel Pipes replies: This is a long-term project, in part because I agree with your implication that the Israelis are not yet ready to seize the opportunity for victory.
