Our dear Robert is not aware that the revered Islamic literary sources tell us that the source of the Arabic alphabet is from SyriacReader comment on item: Poll: Israel Victory Gains Strength Submitted by dhimmi no more, Jan 12, 2019 at 11:50 Dear readers, Here are a few examples of Syriac and Arabic alphabet letters: Syriac Ba ܒ compare with Arabic Ba ب Syriac ܓ or G compare with Arabic ج Syriac ܠ compare with Arabic ل or Lam Syriac ܡ compare with Arabic م or meem Syriac ܦ (P letter which becomes F in Arabic) and here is the letter F in Arabic ف Syriac ܛ compare with Arabic ط or Ta Syriac ܘ compare with Arabic و or waw Syriac ܩ compare with Arabic ق or qaf And these are only a few examples More disasters? We are told by al-Baladhri in his book: Futuh al-Bildan the following: اجتمع ثلاثة نفر من طيء ببقة ، وهم مرامر بْن مرة ، وأسلم بْن سدرة ، وعامر بْن جدرة ، فوضعوا الخط وقاسوا هجاء العربية عَلَى هجاء السريانية This can be rendered as: Three persons .... and they are Marmar bin Mura and Aslam bin Sidra and 'Amir bin Jidra they put and measured the spelling of Arabic (read this as Arabic alphabet) from the Syriac spelling (Syriac alphabet) It is your sources that tell us that even the Arabic alphabet, and not just the numbers/numerals, is from Syriac Again the tragedy of Muslims from India and Pakistan the likes of our dear Robert is: they are very detached from the cultures and languages of the Middle East Arabic included!
