My point-to-point response to Mr. RobertReader comment on item: Poll: Israel Victory Gains Strength Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), Sep 3, 2018 at 02:25 Dear Mr. Robert, Greetings from myself. Thanks for very prompt reply. Now I will present my argument to you in a point-to-point response. You said : "In response, I want to direct your attention My reply : I want to mention to you that the US did not win WWII on her own. Most important contributions to defeat the Nazis were done by the very same Soviet Union that you hate so much. Whether the US did win against communism as a n ideology or the Soviet Union as a state is also debatable. I have come across many prominent US conservative commentators (including Paul Craig Roberts) who believe that Reagan and Gorvachev reached a detente whereby in exchange of the Soviet draw-down of her defenses in Eastern Europe the US would Freeze NATO. The fact is that Gorvachev and his Russian successors did keep their words but the US did not keep her words to mothball NATO and the military buildup in Europe. This is not a victory for the US but complete backstabbing of the Russians by the US. Whether the US has defeated communism as an ideology or not is a question still to be answered by history. Remember it was a Jewish philosopher who proposed Communism and there are very few examples of the West not adopting a Jewish ideology in due course of time. Was not Jesus a Jewish philosopher whose ideology called Christianity was accepted and adopted by the West long after (centuries after) his physical death ? So Marx may very well have his day in future course of history. Considering the present severe economic inequality and pessimistic attitude in the US particularly after the so-called "victory" against Communism who knows Marx may make a come back in future in the US. You said : "You seem to be unaware that Israel is the "START-UP NATION." You also are overlooking that the USA & Israel have the military capability Furthermore, you seem to be unaware of the new Economic war My Answer : The US and Israel can think about putting out of existence DPRK and Iran but not without the US losing several of her major cities like the DC, NY and LA and hundreds of thousands of Americans in the process. You must understand that the DPRK do have hydrogen bombs and ICBM-s. Iran also do have long range missiles. So it is this deterrence that keeps the US and Israel from striking DPRK and the Islamic republic and suddenly not any moral considerations. If the US and Israel did have any moral considerations then they would not have imposed harsh sanctions that hurt the ordinary DPRK and Iran people. Well with respect to Israel being an economic superpower that you claim why cannot then Israel just take some hundreds of African migrants and Palestinian Gazan refugees ? If it is per-capita World's "Start up" nation then why she cannot just take these refugees ? Are her "Start up" industries not having enough growth to employ few thousands of African and Palestinians Gazan refugees ? I would love your responses to my point of views. Looking forward to your replies. Take care Submitting....
