Our dear "Robert" is not aware that even early Muslim mathematicians were not Arabs and called these numerals الاعداد الهنديةReader comment on item: Poll: Israel Victory Gains Strength Submitted by dhimmi no more, Oct 28, 2018 at 07:27 Dear Readers this is beyond our dear "Robert" madrassa education. Early Muslim mathematicians the likes of al-Khawarizmi ( الخوارزمي D 825) and al-Kindi ( الكندي D 873) were not Arabs. They were the descendants of the far superior civilizations of the Middle East be it Persia or Mesopotamia. Oh the Arabs were busy looting and enslaving others! Notice that the Persian al-Khawarizmi wrote his book الجمع والتفريق بحساب الهند or "The Adding and Dividing in the Mathematics of the Indians" He did not call it Arabic Hindu numerals He called Indian! Oh more? al-Kindi wrote his book كتاب في استعمال الاعداد الهندية or The Book in how to use Indian Numerals al-Kindi did not call it Arabic numerals or Arabic Hindu numerals. He called it Indian numerals Why is that our dear "Robert"? Were al-Kindi and al-Khawarizmi liars and Islamophobes? So where did al-Khawarizmi and al-Kindi learn about mathematics and numbers/numerals? Hint: The Greek learning! This Greek learning was translated by Nestorians (Syriac speakers! Gasp!) who translated the Greek literary treasures from Greek to Syriac then to Arabic in Baghdad not in Mecca or Medina Did you get it our dear "Robert"? And more evidence that the Islamic bogus concept of al-Jahiliyya is nonsense. Our dear "Robert" repeat after me: History is about continuity not discontinuity! Oh! الاعداد الهندية? It means Indian Numerals and not Arabic/Muslim numerals! Next? Why do Muslims the likes of Yusuf Ali use Latin numerals/numbers?
