Our dear "Robert: Numbers & Numerals and the Caravan and the barking mangy dogs continue to bark!Reader comment on item: Poll: Israel Victory Gains Strength Submitted by dhimmi no more, Oct 25, 2018 at 17:06 Our dear "Robert" had no clue that Arabic language numbers/numerals did not drop from the sky. They were plagiarized from the numbers/numerals used by the very sophisticated civilizations of the Middle East before the Arab invasion in the 7th century. It goes all the way back to the Akkadian and Ugaritic languages. Even your Allah was using the numbers used by mere kuffar in the Middle East as in the case of Q74:30! How did this happen our dear "Robert"? More? our dear "Robert" has no clue about what is a number and what is a numeral Right our dear "Robert"? How did these numbers/numerals get into Arabic? From Syriac. Why? because Akkadian and Ugaritic were dead languages by the 7th century and replaced by Aramaic and then Syriac And Syriac is the source of Arabic numbers/numerals, wahid, ithnan etc... It must have been a surprise to our dear "Robert" that all the ancient civilizations of the Middle East be it Egypt, Persia, Syria/Palestine and Greece had their numbers/numeral systems too His so called prophet must have dealt with the Syriac numbers/numeral system after all he was a trader in Syria Right our dear "Robert"? Oh the zero? Ptolemy in his Syntaxis Mathematica or Almagest (Allah was an avid reader of Almagest right our dear "Robert"?) "he was using a symbol for zero a circle with a long overbar) See?
