Notice that you used the correct version of the Arabic transliteration of the name Daniel

Arabs also transliterate it as دَنيال with a fatha (short a) above the dal instead of an alif following the dal

If you check the source of the name in Arabic it is Syriac where the name is ܕܵܐܢܝܼܐܹܝܠ or Daniel or "My judge is God" and notice that there is an Alip (not a fatha) following the letter Dalat Therefore your transliteration is perfect

Notice that the Prophet Daniel is not mentioned in the Qur'an but you will find his name in Islamic sources external to the Qur'an but he is supposed to be included in the unnamed Jewish prophets in the Qur'an
