Fatima: Here is some more stuff to keep you laughing

As the saying goes, laughter is the best medicine. One of the posters here has begun to laugh loudly at what I write and which I hope has affected a cure for some ailment of his. I hope I can raise a few laughs from you too.

Some of us on this forum have been studying Islam for camel's years so we know all about your having your religion and me mine. Your prophet said that when he was under pressure in Mecca. If he had left it at that in Madina, Islam would have been a tolerable religion. The moment he had a few trusted men in arms around him he went and abrogated it, not once but several times in the same Koran in 9:29, 9:111, 3:85, 61:9. Do you expect us to laugh reading these grim verses?

Fatima, I have given four verses which shows extreme disrespect of other beliefs in Islam than the one solitary verse, 109:6, you have come up with. You will have to come up with more such verses to make us smile, let alone laugh.

We have heard this one before. Islam means peace in Arabic. Which naturally makes Islam a peaceful religion.This is so amusing I laugh loud and long when I hear this. You give something a name and that something behaves according to the meaning of the word. This is the wonderful Islamic logic we have seen on this board many times.

North Korea calls itself the People's Democratic Republic of Korea. So it is a democracy and a republic too. Can you fault the logic of this argument, Fatima? Are you amused by the utter silliness of this argument?

But isn't Allah also a terrorist as He Himself admits in 8:12 -YUSUFALI: Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

Out of context as usual? Maybe, but why does Allah instil terror into people's hearts? Allah is allowed to do anything? How about the prophet? He also said he was allowed to terrorise people. Bukhari Vol 9, Bok 87 No. 127. "The prophet said, ‘I have been given he keys of eloquent speech and given victory with terror."

Muhammad did terrorise as Ibn Ishaq quotes a verse written by a Companion, Page 588: "When the Apostle descends on your land none of your people will be left when he leaves." And on page 580 he informs:"…Often we have left the slain cut to pieces and a widow crying alas over her mutilated husband." ‘Tis Allah, not man we seek to please."

Now, if Ibn Ishaq is right and you are also right, that terrorists go to hell, where is your Prophet now?

Fatima, if you told Bin Laden that he would paraphrase that Muslim poet of old and sing, ‘Tis Allah, not Fatima I seek to please,' because as you saw Allah has no problem terrorising people, nor does his prophet. So why should Bin Laden a follower of Muhammad, especially as he is promised paradise for fighting and being hard on unbelievers (9:123).

But Fatima, the Koran says in 41:44 - Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" ……

Allah is telling you that if the Koran was in a language other than Arabic its listeners would not believe. So ask yourself why people with other languages should believe after Allah has said this. The Koran is for the Arabs and Arabs only.

And in 42:7 Allah says: (YUSUFALI:) - Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- ….

This verse makes things worse. This inspiration Allah has sent to Muhammad is only for people in Mecca and around it (you will have to stretch ‘around' to the whole globe to include people from America, Europe or India).

Tell us now Fatima, whether Islam is a religion for all the sons of Adam and Eve.

I am sure the kafir who wrote it would welcome what you said. A kafir's religion is his ‘business only'. If only Muslims would leave kafirs alone and not bombard them with their constant invitation to Islam, which we all know is meant only for the Arabs as explicitly stated in the Koran. Why should we believe in the Koran when we have not been invited to believe it? We kafirs don't like to go where we are not wanted.

If so, then why dawa (invitation to Islam)? Muslims judge we are in the wrong for worshipping anything other than Allah telling us there is no authority from Him to do that. You forget that Allah has given Muslims authority to compass Safa and Marwa as His symbols: 002.158 YUSUFALI: Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. ….

We don't judge you as idol worshippers for kow-towing to a piece of rock or for running between Safa and Marwa. Why should you judge us as idol-worshippers (not that we mind or care) when we do the same with our pieces of stone and wood?
