Mohammad: Some cool answers to your simple questionsReader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad Submitted by Plato (India), Aug 4, 2008 at 04:02 Mohammad, You took more than two months to reply. Did you hope that your rebuttal will go unchallenged as Proud Indian may have forgotten about his post? >>Reply to your Question is very Simple. Please keep your Head cool. Read the History of Muslim Empires & Regimes. Most of such Rulers were very Just & Fair to their Non-Muslims.<< A simple answer could sometimes be the result of a simple mind. Let us take a look at your answer to see whether a simple mind is at work here. Rather than descend into disputed territory let us keep things simple and examine the record of Allah in his pronouncements about disbelievers. Surely Muslim rulers would also look at infidels through the jaundiced eyes of Allah. You asked Proud Indian to keep his head cool. See if you can keep your head cool after you read about Allah's fairness towards non-Muslims: SHAKIR: 8:55 Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve, then they would not believe. SHAKIR: 3:10 (As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire. SHAKIR: 10:100 And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand. SHAKIR: 16:93 And if Allah please He would certainly make you a single nation, but He causes to err whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases; and most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did. In these three verses you can plainly see Allah's hatred of people who do not believe in Him. Why then would Muslims treat unbelievers with fairness and justice. In 16:93 Allah declares his unfairness by saying He will cause to err whom He pleases and to add insult to injury question them about it. 9:29 tells Muslims to humiliate conquered Christians and Jews: SHAKIR: Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. >>Islam is a Religion of Peace & Progress and Tolerance. If you find some thing different among Muslims. They were or are True Muslims.<< I am mystified. Where is there any peace in the Muslim world. Muslims are either killing themselves (Dafur, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia, Algeria….) or they are killing non-Muslims (Kashmir, Thailand, Indonesia…). Progress? Compare Muslim countries with non-Muslim nations. What progress do you see in them compared to the unbelieving countries? Pakistan vs India. Turkey vs Greece. Malaysia vs Korea. Indonesia vs Japan. In the USA where you live compare the condition of the Muslims with that of infidels who have migrated from the same region (Indian Hindus vs Pakistani/Bangladeshi Muslims)Why can't Muslims look to the future instead of looking to the past, a past frozen in the seventh century? Tolerance?? LOL. Death for apostates is tolerance? Killing people blindly for some silly cartoons is tolerance? Think of Rushdi, Hirsi, Taslima. Think of the blasphemy laws in Muslims countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan. Think of the Prophet telling Ali: Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 260: ]Narrated Ikrima: Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " The Koran literally reeks of intolerance of non-Muslims. Read 5:14, 9:28, 4:89. Almost every surah in the Koran has verses condemning, abusing and cursing unbelievers. >>Islam believes in a very simple Principle: Your Religion is for you and My Religion is for me.<< How simple would you say is this principle of Islam found in the Koran: 3:85 SHAKIR: And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. >> I don't fight with you to accept my Religion.<< You don't? But Allah asks you to do exactly that in 9:29 already quoted above. And in 61:9 Allah tells you: SHAKIR: He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion, that He may make it overcome the religions, all of them, though the polytheists may be averse. Mohammed, I doubt if you have read the Koran with care and attention. >>There were or are still many Muslims in the World, who changed their Religion by studying the Holy Quran only. Nobody forced them to become Muslims.<< That can be said with equal justice for all other religions. Hundreds of thousands become Christians on reading about Jesus. Hundreds of thousands become Buddhists on reading the teachings of the Buddha. But there is one very big difference between those who become Muslims and those who change their religion to other than Islam. Those who become Muslims are condemned to remain in that faith on pain of death for apostasy. People who change their religions to other faiths are free to change it again to any other they wish. Islam is the only religion so terrified that Muslims will turn apostates in large numbers that it hangs the penalty of death as the punishment for apostasy over every Muslim. This call for death for apostasy is the legacy of your Prophet and his four ‘rightly' guided caliphs. I have already quoted Bukhari on this above where the Prophet says: 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " The most faithful follower of Muhammad, Abu Bakr, had to slaughter many Muslims who apostatized during his reign as Caliph. >>There are many, many Examples in the World. One such Example: Mr. Joseph of Texas in USA, who was a Great Scholar & Priest and now he is One of the Best Muslims in the World. See his Web site: www.islamtomorrow.com , www.islamalways.com << I visited the first link you gave and saw a list of several people converted to Islam, including a 15-year-old girl. To see the difference between Islam and other religions just imagine Muslims renouncing their religion. What did the thought experiment reveal, Mohammad? Especially, what did your imagination reveal about what would have happened to a 15-year-old Muslim girl (like your sister Kelly) who converted to Christianity? There are counter examples too. Ayman Hirsi. Salman Rushdie. Taslima Nasreen. These and other people read the Koran and came to the opposite conclusion of Mr. Joseph. Again note the difference. The Christians did not call for his murder. Muslims have called for the murder of these three and they have been forced into hiding. Why is that Mr. Mohammed? Why are followers of your religion of peace calling for their blood. Don't tell me, they are not true Muslims?! LOL >>For God's sake, don't challenge Islam, the Holy Quran, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) & Allah and All His Prophets from Adam to Jesus (pbut)<< Mohammed you have got the cart before the horse. No one is interested in challenging Islam. It is Islam which challenges all other religions by claiming they are false and their believers will end up in Allah's hell. Most of us on this forum are only challenging the fact that Islam is a peaceful faith. Islam challenges other faiths by calling for their destruction and subjugation. Not true? Read: 9:29 once more. Also 3:85 and 61:9 >> I can give a Big Lecture about the Marrage of Prophet Muhammad.<< Mohammed tell us all about the marriages of Prophet Muhammad. We are all ears, and not for salacious reasons. Kaffirs like me truly want to know why a 53-year-old man lusted after a 6-year-old girl. Why he made Rehana his concubine after decimating all the menfolk of her tribe. Why he took to bed a 17-year-old newly minted widow after having her husband brutally tortured and killed (hint lust for the treasure of the Banu Nadir in the hands of her husband) >>If you want to learn, I will write in a seperate letter in the future but have Respect for the great Prophet of God- Allah.<< Yes we do want to learn, Mohammed. That is why we come to this forum. Teach us about the greatness of Mohammed and the religion he preached. Convince us about his greatness (don't tell us, as some Muslims are wont to, that a scientist has put him as the number one most influential human ever, forgetting that the truth of an idea does not depend on the votes one gets) and we will respect him. We are all ears, eyes rather. >>Many Indian Scholars including Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Ramkrisnan-past President of India have Hightest Love & Respect for Prophet Muhammad for his Contribution to this World.<< These men instinctively respected all religions because their religion teaches them that all paths (religions) lead to Allah (salvation). Their belief is very unlike the belief that Islam instills in its believers. Islam tells them that believing in any religion other than Islam is abhorrent and they will be tortured by Allah for ever for such a silly reason. These people believed that God is a TRULY merciful being and loves all living things equally. Their belief is very UNLIKE ISLAM which reserves unimaginable tortures for people who are not Muslims.
