Fatima: It is good you admit clearly that Allah does not love non-Muslims. Part IIReader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad Submitted by Plato (India), Mar 28, 2008 at 04:07 >> I don't feel captured by my religion.. i feel alot more free than anyone else :) islam sets me free<< This again is a bit like the Stockholm syndrome. The captive begins to feel that maybe the captors are right after all and have the right to keep him/her in captivity. Feeling free and being free and two different things. There are many prisoners who after a long incarceration are afraid to walk out of prison. They get used to the cruel warders and the criminals around them. The world outside the prison walls begins to feel oppressive to them. Some Muslim women I know wear the burqa as they think that all males, not their relatives, look at their faces and bodies with lecherous eyes. Muslim women defend the right of brothers to have double their share of family property on the plea that they have to care for their families whereas women are taken care of by men. They clean forget that the system was imposed on them, that it need not be so. Their freedom to make their own living has been curtailed. So Islam has basically set you free to stay at home by making some men your protectors from other men, and you are freed from the trouble of having to earn your own living. If you are happy with that kind of freedom, you are welcome to be happy with it. >>and by the way..Aisha was 9 when muhammed married her she wasn't 6 :) and she did have her period back then cause its forbidden in islam to marry a child ( a girl that didn't have her period yet )<< I thought she was married at six and taken to Muhammad's bed at nine. What difference does it make. Did she know what she was getting into? Does a nine year old girl, even one who had just had her period know what marriage is all about? Did she realise that she would be widow very quickly and would be forbidden to marry again? Did the 53-year-old man not realise that he was being unjust to the little girl who had not reached the age of consent. >>and if islam looks at muslims are the choosen people.. then it wouldn't worn them about sins..<< The Koran is warning Muslims not to commit sins against brother Muslims. It has no good feelings towards unbelievers. Allah constantly tells Muslims to be harsh with, break treaties with them, make them pay a humiliation tax and so on. Read the prophet's last sermon to understand his constant harping on Muslim brotherhood. The Kuran is silent on injustice committed against unbelievers by Muslims. Could it be because they are people of the fire and do not deserve justice? An Nisa: 92 – He who has killed a BELIEVER by mistake must set free a believing slave and pay the blood money… >>.. more over.. it didn't ask them to bring God's word to non muslims and Allah wouldn't say that Islam erases whatever came befor it ( means when a non muslim converts to islam,, all his part sins are erased )<< Fatima, this bringing of the word to unbelievers is the constant refrain of Allah. The prophet himself devoted his life to bring Islam to non-believers. That is what the Muslims who proselytise (dawa) are doing all the time hoping to gain credit with Allah. You say that Allah erases whatever came before Islam meaning He will forgive all sins committed before the unbeliever converted to islam. This would mean that Hitler had he converted before he died would now be in heaven, so also Ariel Sharon and Pol Pot if they said the shahada before they breathed their last. But Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi would be frying in hell as they forgot to repeat the shahada, the most important sentence that man can ever pronounce. >>…and if you don't beleive that .. Trust me .. I don't wish that you pay for it.. I wish that you beleive that instead. I wish it to all humanity just like muhammed wished it for all humanity.<.< I have asked you before Fatima, why should one pay a horrible price for disbelief in what you keep claiming is a merciful god. What is unethical or immoral about it? You are not the only one wishing all humanity repeats the sahada. Bin Laden, Zarqawi, and the clerics spewing hatred after Friday prayers also wish and doing something about it. But we the unbelievers wish that none you wish us this submission to a god with a giant ego, who tortures his creatures for mere unbelief. >>. cause Allah Created people with a free well.. no one can be forced . but they shall listen . and when they listen they shall choose.. and when they choose then Allah shall decide where they will end up .. heaven . or hell .<< Fatima, this is the kind of Islamic logic that absolutely delight unbelievers like me. Let me do a tafsir on what you have written. After Allah has given us free will we HAVE to listen and after listening we HAVE to choose and after we choose between Allah and no Allah, Allah will decide whether we rot in hell or romp in heaven. First of all Allah doesn't need to choose as the punishment for not believing is hell. Second of all Allah knew well before I chose that what I would choose and what goes with it. So what is the free will you are talking about? >>and yes Satan is doing his job. and i think he's a workaholic and if i was his boss i'd give him an A+ .<< Have you asked yourself why a merciful, benevolent Allah who already knows that Satan is going to mislead people let him loose on us. Allah can then be considered responsible for the unbelief and sins of humanity. Allah readily admits as much in verses: 6:149, 14:27, 17:97 (these are only a sample). >>because Allah loves us.. he sent us his prophets to warn us about hell .. and tell us about heaven . and ask us to be good and make earth a better place . and to fail satan . and make adam and eve proud .<< Well, He also sent us Satan to misguide us. Satan is a much more powerful being than all the prophets put together. Satan had stood up to Allah and refused His command. What really is Allah's intention in creating this world? Adam and Eve themselves could not resist temptation. Adam and Eve were taught by Allah Himself. If they could go astray why does Allah expect us not to? Regards Plato
