Mansoor: Come to Allah's defence. Why is the all-powerful Allah hiding Himself from us?Reader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad Submitted by Plato (India), Apr 13, 2008 at 07:19 >>Plato, so you diverted your water guns towards Fatima. I am amazed that many times you get the answers of your same old repeated questions but your guts are great that you use same old water gun on everybody.....Nice keep it up.<< Water guns are fun to play with. And the source of the watery ammunition that I use is the Koran, hadith and sira. They contain the acid, alkali and grit to wash off the false aura of peace that you have surrounded Islam with. >>You said...Allah has declared horrible punishments to the disbelievers... Oh great logic...your brain...Oh I salute you....but in fact I pity on you!!! Allah is telling you simply about the horrible consequences of not accepting him as your Lord.<< You a mere mortal pity me, but the ALL-MERCIFUL Allah has no pity in Him as you state quite honestly that there are horrible consequences for not accepting Allah as my Lord. What makes unbelief such a horrendous crime? Give this matter a little thought, Mansoor. >>In almost every Chapter, Allah first shows you his undeniable signs and informs about the rewards and then finally about the punishments. The unluckiest and arrogant persons like you take it as joke...So be it!!!<< Why is Allah hiding behind everyday objects and events and claiming through a mortal that they are his signs. Why should I believe Muhammad that the stuff I live with on a daily basis are signs of this Allah and I must accept what he claims are His commands. What prevents Allah, with all his powers, from revealing Himself to me? What logic do you see in this? How much of a fool do you think Muhammad made of Muslims for accepting him as a Prophet? >>Allah doesn't require your oath or your acceptance without understanding...<< What is this Allah? Some kind of tribal chief or military dictator needing the assurance of acceptance? He claims he is the sole creator of the universe. Is He afraid that some rival is lurking around for Him to fear that we will transfer our allegiance to Him. Is my allegiance so important to Him that if I withhold it He gets mad enough to throw me into hell? >>He knows when you are clearly in the position to accept Islam.<< With all his great powers Allah should have known that before He created me. But yet He let me be born. Why did He allow that Mansoor if He was so concerned about belief in Him? This is another question for you to chew on. Do some hard chewing; it won't do any harm unlike the bullets you claim to chew! >> When besides seeing several signs you still tend to reject and reject and then reject..<< As I pointed out before this is just Muhammad claiming, via the Koran, that the stuff one sees daily like the sun and moon, the bees going about their work etc are signs of the all-powerful Allah. >>Then your chances go dry...and then...your heart is sealed and finally you are booked for hell.<< My chances don't go dry. Since Allah already knew all about me by creating me with a sealed heart I never had a chance to begin with. >>Allah doesn't want to blindly accept Islam.<< You are so wrong, Mansoor. Read: 3:85 If anyone desire a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him;….. Isn't this a command to accept Islam blindly? >>This is Allah's land, we are Allah's creation and there is no point Allah will compromise that his creation would Worship any other entity not legitimate and unauthorized.<< This is the second time you have granted a title deed to Allah to this world. If everything happens according to Allah's will and if some people worship something else then it follows that Allah allowed it. Anything wrong with this logic? Chew on this one too. >>Allah sent his revelations to different people in different ages...just to seal the fact that he hasn't thrown anybody in Hell without being properly warned.<< All those messages that Allah sent before Muhammad had the tendency to get lost or corrupted. Was there a learning process for Allah? It took Him from Adam to Muhammad to learn how to protect His precious messages. It took Allah that many years to create messages that don't get lost or corrupted. Its nice to know that Allah is only human after all!! >>The warning has reached you and reaching you through many like me...and you are tend to ignore it...and ignore it with arrogance...<< If I can reject the All-powerful Allah's message (thank you for trying) then how can you or I consider Him to be all-powerful? An all-powerful being cannot deliver a damp squib of a message. That can happen only if He has Himself prevented us from getting His message. He says as much when He says He has placed a veil on our minds to prevent us from getting His message. >>Allah will never accept you for Paradise because you rejected his signs. Whether you like it or not...<< What is Allah's paradise? Some of the simple pleasures we have here on earth are just multiplied thousands of times in jannat. I am already tired of most of them. I hate to think of spending trillions upon trillions of years suffering the same pleasures. Could not Allah think up some more fun things than the ones we have on earth?? >>Allah will never accept you for Paradise because you rejected his signs.<< I need better signs than what Muhammad has provided. >>Whether you like it or not...Allah is firm on his verdict and he doesn't require your endorsement or your comment.<< Allah does not require my endorsement? Isn't that exactly what He wants? When I understand His signs I am endorsing Him. He keeps almost begging in the Koran to accept Him as the sole ruler of the Universe. Is that not asking for endorsement? >>Better open up your closed eyes... Plato...try to see the picture with an open mind...<< Mansoor, you know very well that Allah Himself claims that He has closed my eyes and sealed my heart. What is the point in asking me to do something that Allah has willed against? >> Neither was your birth in your control...nor your death is pre-informed....<< My birth was not in my control, but it certainly was in my parents'. They chose not to use birth control. And I do have some control over my death. I can choose to die in the prime of my life. Is it Allah who controls what impels people to commit suicide? If so why does Islam frown upon suicide? >>…better understand that Pharoah also declared that He became Muslim and accepted Allah as one but only at the time when he was drowning...and the time was over for him....<< What is the big deal in this. Allah had set the stop watch for the Pharaoh. It was the merciful Allah who did not give him a minute more to endorse Him as the ruler of the Universe. It was Allah's decision to send the Pharaoh to hell. Why do Muslims make such a big deal out of this phony pharaoh story? >>Before seeing the angels of death...and then you throw your hands and find your faith as fake....better accept Islam...the only path for salvation.... Best of Luck buddy!<< I hear your call to Islam. Your post has only succeeded in driving me further away from it. Better luck next time!
